Considering downgrading Ibra to Benteke, which would allow me to upgrade Hojbjerg to Son, Walcott or Cazorla next round. Good plan?

    Foster/Pickford
    Coleman/Stones/McAuley/Holebas/Amat
    Firmino/Stirling/Antonio/Capoue/Hojbjerg
    Aguero/Ibra/Costa

Palace fixtures really aren't that appealing, I know form over fixtures but I'd rather have Wilson or Deeney.

          Repost on Snod:

I have Snod and its an interesting call. May be on pens if Hernandez keeps losing pitch time along with the free kicks, plus better fixtures coming. What concerned me about Hull was how they collectively seem to fade badly in games - they really need a new manager and stability fast.

Upgrade def? You have walker and Kos, no need to downgrade a player like walcott because of that!

Did a small summary of the BPS from the non-Bellerin Arsenal defenders to figure out whether Koscielny's role as a bonus point magnet in previous campaigns still holds true and thus would justify the premium.

Looking at the BPS since Mustafi entered (gw 4->) this is what we get:

    Kos 30, 17, 30, 44 = 131
    Mustafi 20, 18, 26, 40 = 104
    Monreal 20, 11, 30, 33 = 94

In these game weeks Kos scored in both gw 4 and 7, i.e his scores of 30 and 44. In gameweek 4 he clearly outscores the others, but Mustafi is really close in gw 7 despite the additional points that comes from Kos' game winning goal. He also beats kos in the "neutral" gw 5, although with a single BPS.

GW 2-3 where Kos and Monreal played but no Mustafi

    Kos: 30, 21
    Monreal: 31, 16

Kos has gathered the most bonus points but saw Monreal gather 3 bonus points in gw 2.

To be fair, Koscielny is more likely to score goals and gather bonus points because of that, but I was a bit surprised to see that he is not the unrivaled king of BPS. Especially Mustafi's performance against Burnley, which earned him 2 BP, stands out for me.

For now Kos seems like the best alternative, but I would probably try to find the extra 0.3 to get Bellerin. If budget is short and you missed the price rise, Mustafi may be a valid alternative.

Indeed - Bellerin will surely fire soon he is playing right wing, getting beyond Theo a lot...

Normally I would stay away from Stoke...especially with the form they are in. However, I'm interested to know what you guys think about Joe Allen playing as a CAM/CF at 4.8. After watching the United match last week he was playing in a much more advanced roll than I'm used to seeing him.

I haven't watched a lot of Stoke's matches this year....but I think this is a newer role for him.

Trying to free up room so I can pick up Benteke so that means downgrading a Barkley to Allen. Worth it?

Which one is the better option?

    A)Vertonghen, Sterling, Austin

    B) Mustafi, Walcott, Wilson

I already own Sanchez & Aguero so it's a double up. ML leader owns Walcott but not Sterling. (A) leaves me with 0.0 ITB hence I could not get Wilson(6.4) and have to get Austin(6.3). This is purely for ML not OR as I'm playing GW19 cash out so things start to get a bit serious now 12 weeks left.

Would really appreciate your thoughts and some help to win me £££! Thanks.

Depends on the defender you would play instead.

      Sterling vs 3rd def + 4 vs Arsenal def + Son/Walcott.
The 2nd pair should beat the 1st over the next 3 if Arsenal keep 2 CS or thereabouts.

It comes down to Arsenal def vs vertonghen/holebas/smith. If you think there is a big difference in potential points then the hit may be worthwhile if you think the mids score similar.

I have no idea, do you think kosc/bellerin will guaranteed get at least 4 more points than vertonghen/holebas/smith, also taking into account that Sterling could get more points than son/Walcott???

That's the issue. The extra you spend in defence can catch up with you in attack.
Long term the defender one will so it's about the attack one and how long you plan to keep Sterling or replacement.

Am I crazy for selling Sanchez? I feel there are so many good midfielders in mid price range (7.0-8.5) that I feel confident in not having Sanchez. It also leaves me with 3.0 ekstra that I can invest in other areas and get a better team overall.

    Cech (Jaku)
    Coleman Koscielny McAuley (Amat/Collins)
    Stearling Firmino Son Walcott (Snodgrass)
    Lukaku Aguero Rashford

1.1 ITB to upgrade defence and bring in another striker for Rashford.

Your whole attack is quite weak then so you should upgrade rashford to Costa or someone else

You think Aguero and Lukaku is weak? and with that midfield? I agree on Rashford but I can easly upgrade him for Benteke/Deeney/Defoe or other striker in the same price range. I just feel I dont need those most expensive players to do it well. Sitting around 100k for the moment.

Im aware of that and I do have Walcott for this. My point is that there are great inform players that are much cheaper and yet pick almost as much points as Sanchez that costs 11.3.

Diffferent server for members area but currently you need to login in or leave a tab open. You can't post whilst in the members area so the article idea probably wouldn't work.

Hi guys, thinking doing this before the break for -4 points leaving 0.3itb. What do you reckon and should I wait?

Ibra, Antonio & Valencia -> Kun, Son & Kosc

splendid transfers, although I am not sure of whether Son or Wally is the best

I like the transfers but just monitor the price changes at fplstatistics.co.uk then act just before any changes likely to happen

No need to do those moves now, you'll be disappointed if one of those gets injured playing internationals.

Do the transfers, but after internationals have been played!

      Cheers guys much appreciated.

Hansel - I've already got Sanchez and Cech so I couldn't get Wally if I was to go for Kosc. Also Son is playing internationals vs. Qatar and Iran.

DMKP - I wondered how people knew about price hikes. This looks really helpful. When do you complete the transfer? When it's in the 90s? Late 90s? Top tip thanks.

Alright, makes sense to go Son then. I'm torn between him and Theo but if full Ars cover than Son is a no-brainer

I'll keep an eye on the fplstatistics. Only thing that worries me is that Kun is playing Peru,Paraguay, Eve, Barca, S'ton and ManU in the next 6 fixtures. Is anyone going to brave it without him?

No. I might captain someone ells if there is a better option or risk of resting, but Im not going to sell him.

Yeah I very nearly did Antonio to Walcott last week but decided to keep a FT for after the break. I reckon Son over Wally as he's playing false 9

Holebas but it is very close. If you don't have a viable option was holebas is banned for one week after his 5yc then smith

Smith, both have attacking potential + fixtures but Watford still yet to keep a CS

Smith is 0.1 more however, but if it is absolutely no issue then probably smith. Also, Watford fixtures are much better than Bournemouth for next three.

    Is this a crazy move?
    Sanchez + Capoue + Baines > Walcott + Son + Mustafi -4

Would allow me to get an Arsenal defender and means I won't have to play Capoue every week. Potentially Walcott could equal Sanchez's points over next few weeks.

Not a huge fan of getting rid of Sanchez, I'll be honest. No way you can do 2 transfers for free and keep Sanchez? Son and an Arsenal defender would be excellent moves even if it means playing Capoue for another week or two.

Money is so tight at the moment the only way to do both those moves is by downgrading another expensive player, but I have Sterling Firmino Sanchez Antonio Kun Kaku don't really want to get rid of any of them.

So you are keeping Foster the next 3 games? Be aware that he wil drop in price this GW, maybe even £0.2 and Im sure in next GW too. It might be smart to take a hit to bring in a new goalkeeper.

I don't think Foster will drop in price this week, but I am looking at bringing in a new GK likely Pickford to free up some cash

I did somthing like this and people are amost calling me crazy. 🙂 In my opinion there are so many good players around 7.0-8.5 that is worth it. With the extra money you realy can ugrade your team. Im sitting around 100k with team value 103.6.

If you break it down... Mustafi probably 5 clean sheets in next 8 games (Baines not close), Son attacking treat and in form (Capoue not even close) Walcott in form and is picking up as many points as Sanchez at the moment.

At least its not around £100 🙂

In my opinion your fist priority shoud be investing in Arsenal defender og goalkeeper. They have great fixtures the next 8-9 games. I compared it to Tottenham fixtures and Arsenal has higher chances for keeping clean sheats. If Arsenal players are to expensive you shoud consider Vertongen and Lloris (0.1 cheaper then Cech)

          This is my team btw:

          Cech (Jaku)
          Coleman Koscielny MyAuley (Amat/Collins)
          Stearling Firmino Son Walcott (Snodgrass)
          Lukaku Aguero Rashford

1.1 ITB to upgrade Rashord or defence.

Soooo many midfield choices... its getting very tempting to go 3-5-2 especially if there is a need to keep using transfers swapping out your third striker chasing form and fixtures.

I like this mid... Sterling, Son, Walcott, Sanchez, Firmino with Aguero and lukaku as the 2
