Our second of three Members’ articles this week revisits last weekend’s fixtures and plunders the Gameweek filtered Opta stats currently available on our test server. This new set of tools, which we hope to be opening up for a Beta test next week, allows the analysis of statistics not only over a specific Gameweek but also a range of Gameweeks.

We took a look at some of last weekend’s top performers to offer you further analysis and to highlight some of the information that Members will be able to discover and examine for themselves very soon…

    Qatar has never qualified for a World Cup finals. Of course, it could qualify in 2014 and 2018, before hosting the event in 2022.     What do people think about Balotelli for this weekends games?? I have noticed he seems to steal the show a bit from Tevez when they are both on the pitch and fancy him maybe grabbing a couple this weekend. However, i noticed he is a doubt on totalfpl?

          Less so about Russia, but that's because I actually have some idea what it's like.

        It's pretty devastating when the bid team comes out and says they genuinely don't know how they could have improved the bid.

        I'm genuinely gutted about this, even if we get it in my lifetime i will be much older and won't be able to enjoy it in the same way.

        It's strange that Goal.com and caughoffside have such a universally bad rep with the online community yet the BBC links to them almost daily from their gossip column. There must be kick backs going on there. I'm all for transfer gossip but when it's just so obviously made up with zero quotes or sources, it's nothing more than misleading time wasting.

            Why wouldn't he risk his best player in a game Spurs really need something out of if they are to challenge for the top 4 again. Surely the opposite is true, you don't risk your stars in 'easy' games.
