The Gameweek continues with six Premier League matches. Our three-o’clock schedule now has us switch focus to Goodison Park and White Hart Lane, as Everton and Tottenham’s cast of Fantasy assets face up to home fixtures that, on paper, offer potential points.
Roberto Martinez’s Toffees clash with the Canaries looking to continue their push for a top-four finish. Norwich turn up on Merseyside undefeated in their last three away trips, suggesting that Everton may have to work for the expected three points.
As for Spurs, they are up against Tony Pulis’ Palace, having enjoyed their own revival under Tim Sherwood. Three wins in four, including that shock victory at Old Trafford last time out, will surely have the confidence flowing at the Lane. Pulis’ men have slipped to three defeats in their last five and there’s a real fear that their honeymoon period is drawing to a close. Today will tell us more on that, and the Fantasy potential on offer amongst the Spurs squad.
Meanwhile, Sam Allardyce will be looking to halt the Hammers’ alarming slide, and save his own neck, as his West Ham unit draw up to Cardiff. While, at the Cottage, Rene Meulensteen will pitch his Fulham lineup against a Sunderland side still attempting to claw their way out of the basement. Southampton host West Brom at St Mary’s to complete our mid-afternoon programme , before United look to avenge their FA Cup defeat to Swansea in the late kick-off.
Our Twitter feed will carry all the teamsheet news from today’s matches, while our Dugout Discussion chatroom is open and will remain available right up until the final whistle at Old Trafford.
