With the Brazil World Cup set to conclude tomorrow, we’ve rolled out the Pre-Season Section of the site once again as our attentions begin to turn towards matters more domestic.
As some clubs start to prepare for their first friendlies, we’ve collated the current summer schedule for all 20 Premier League outfits. Furthermore, we’ve linked every article referencing each team for the upcoming season published to this point. You can visit the Pre-Season guide for a full index of Scout Reports, Moving Targets, Great Expectations and our recently-launched Fixture Analysis pieces, in addition to our assessments of the three promoted sides posted last month.
We’ll be updating the Pre-Season section on a daily basis, adding every article upon publication. Each team also has their own “Scout Notes” and “Form Players” sections which will be refreshed as we go. We’ll be scouring the friendlies and, as well as rolling out plenty of Scout Scribbles articles to cover the matches, will be using this as a handy one-stop-shop to compile your guide ahead of next month’s season kick-off.

Posted something like this yesterday and would like to get your thoughts:
Do you think that if Argentina beat Germany on Sunday, Messi will be considered the best player in history? Many people, such as myself, think that the only thing keeping Messi from the best player in history title is the World Cup. But in my opinion, apart from the group stages, Messi hasn't really delivered.
When it mattered most, i.e the knock out stage, Messi hasn't really done much in terms of what he does best and that is scoring.
So if Argentina are crowned world champions, without Messi scoring or assisting in the final, will he be known as the best in history? What if he scores one goal? Does that compensate for a rather poor knock out stage?
