This week’s attempt to get the better of Paddy sees call up Everton’s in-form full-back and City’s free-scoring frontman, whilst we also take a punt on one of Palace’s wide men to do the business against struggling Sunderland.

Everton’s home clash with Swansea ensures Leighton Baines comes into consideration this week. The left-back has produced an incredible series of displays in recent matches, grabbing a goal or assist in six of the last seven, and with Paddy willing to offer 9/1 on Baines to score and the Toffees to keep a clean sheet, we’re willing to make this our bet of the week and fork out £4.

Our next selection is a real punt. Yannick Bolasie failed to score all season Tony Pulis at Palace last season, firing more shots than any player without a goal. This time around, he’s already opened his account in Neil Warnock’s second stint in charge of the Eagles and looks in the mood as struggling Sunderland roll up to Selhurst Park.         What would give you this idea? He could start on the bench and then come on if Chelsea needed him (which is unlikely in itself).

        It seems likely that he'll start, but be taken off after 60 minutes.

      I would look at Marney. In reality one or both 😮 of Fab and Pelle will pick up a suspension in the next few weeks so it would be good to have someone with a chance of some points - Boyd or Obertan look decent options.

    No Silva has swayed me away from Aguero(c). Question now is who to captain from these 2?

    a) Costa - at home to QPR looks a no-brainer, but he's not played for a while and his minutes may get restricted if the game is won

    b) Sanchez - at home to BUR also a plum fixture. He's bang on form and will be more of a differential captain. Edges it in the RMT tool. I'm an ARS fan also 🙂
