Coming down off the “excitement” of a double Gameweek, the latest programme of fixtures get off to a rather inauspicious start. The batch of four afternoon kick-offs appear very light on Fantasy interest.

Nonetheless, many will doubtless be monitoring Bournemouth’s visit to the Stadium of Light, with Josh King the undoubted star asset on show. With three goals in his last four Gameweeks and with 11 in his last 13 starts overall, the 6.1 midfielder will be heavily backed for another return against Sunderland. King was brought in by more than 100,000 FPL managers ahead of today’s encounter.

Similary, Southampton’s performance against Hull City will also be of keen interest, with Fantasy managers preparing Saints investment ahead of their double Gameweek 36. Striker Manolo Gabbiadini topped our captain poll and has been acquired by 160,000+ FPL managers heading into today’s transfer deadline.

Elsewhere, Stoke City take on West Ham at the bet365.com, while West Brom host Leicester City, with little on show to pique the interest from a Fantasy perspective.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

    -2 points isn't enough punishment for missing a penalty, the Goalkeeper gets 5 for saving one

        Should be 3 for mids and strikers and 4 for defenders. Keepers should also get more points for saves and a cs

    This must be one of the most hectic 5 minutes in fpl for me

    A ML rival had Pickford in goal and sold King. I have King.

    Another ML rival had Jaku in goal. I have Yoshida and sold Jaku.

      So fickle the FPL crowd. He looked like the best value forward in the last game. Now against a solid Hull defence he's not worth a dime. Not saying the result doesn't give me doubts, but he's not suddenly "a very bad pick".

      Yes, it didn't pass me by, tons of Yoshi and other Saints defe around on early WCs.

      But both, well that was risk worth taking.

      Kind of wish I played Gibson V Citeh...or would that be pushing it.

        Was good until 88mins.. and I knew it was a risk, but also wanted to play the differential and really there were no other options to bench. but yeah, was my own decision after all and it went really bad.

      At minimum we've got to equal either of Forest's or Blackburn's results right? Forest at home are very decent and Blackburn are fighting - really hope Harry get can us wound up for the final week. Give him £15m, build a squad for next season and go from there.

        That pen miss costed me probably 15 points (Tadic goal and 3 BPS would gave me 11 points instead of 1 point and Yoshida's loss of 5 points)
