Our Cup competitions are ramping up nicely ahead of the FA Cup break, with just 16 teams now remaining in both.
The sixth round of Fantasy Football Scout Cup, which took place during Gameweek 21, saw all our remaining previous winners Mark, Ninja Fit Saints and Gribude tumble out, meaning there will definitely be a new name on this year’s trophy.
Among the most eye catching round seven ties is a match up between the competition’s two highest ranked managers, Az, who was among the top 1,000 following Gameweek 21’s events, and 82 placed Elvarus, who is second in our FFS Members league.
Given their rankings, whoever survives this potentially bruising encounter will surely be recognised as a favourite to take the crown.
However, former FPL winner Tom Fenley (ranked 12,465) is another manager in the last sixteen to watch. He now squares up to Double Blue (ranked 62,419).

In the Members Cup’s fifth round, which also took place during Gameweek 21, Cheeseoid (28,812nd) saw off the round’s highest ranked manager Fozilla28 (1,740th) to earn a match up against Gloria Kanchelskis, who is 64,975 places behind this round five giant killer.
John Nerdelbaum, who sent Mark packing in round four, also marches on. His emphatic 65-48 victory over kwapsy in the fifth round sees him win a round six clash with Root, who may have the edge in this tie given his 3,106 ranked side is 9,707 places above John.
Next up for this contest’s highest ranked manager, Gowanyalanger (890th), is a tussle with community veteran Fitzy, who is 55,893 places behind his high-flying opponent.

So as a non Kane owner, but with Alli (c), Vertonghen, Adrian and Ogbonna (illness meant I didn't want to take an 8 point hit and instead got Alli) my ideal situation:
Kane penalty miss, Ogbonna subbed 70th minute at 0-0. Late resistance broken by Vertonghen header from Alli flick followed by 90th min Alli goal to seal the 3bps and 3 points.
Total points: 55-56
I'd take an Alli goal and Kane getting 2 or less goals with a hopeful Alli assist.
