Best Bournemouth players to sign on FPL in 2018/19 – The Complete Members’ Analysis

Josh King, Charlie Daniels, Junior Stanislas, Nathan Ake: Bournemouth players have mostly been good to Fantasy managers since the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2015, offering decent returns for minimal investment.

Last season’s offerings were something of a disappointment from a Fantasy perspective, however, with no Bournemouth player reaching double figures for goals, assists or clean sheets.

King scored half as many goals (eight) as he managed in 2016/17, while Jordan Ibe’s total of six assists was the best any Cherries player could muster.

The Bournemouth defence was particularly porous, meanwhile, keeping only six clean sheets (a league-low shared with relegated Stoke City) in their 38 league matches.

Part of Bournemouth’s appeal from a Fantasy standpoint is that by now we mostly know what to expect from the south coast side. Eddie Howe is the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, following Arsene Wenger’s departure from Arsenal, having been on the books at the Vitality Stadium for well over five years. Many of Bournemouth’s players have also been with the club for an extended period: King, Daniels, Stanislas, Ryan Fraser, Adam Smith, Simon Francis, Steve Cook and Callum Wilson, among others, have featured in all three seasons that the Cherries have spent in the top flight.

While Howe’s formation is far from settled, having flip-flopped between a conventional back four and a three-man defence last season, the Cherries’ mantra remains comfortingly consistent: attack and attack some more.

I see Pavard in a lot of teams and seems to be in the predicted starting 11. I know we will know if he starts this round prior to deadline, but whats his likelihood of starting looking to QFs and further?

Personally, I wouldn't pick a France LB or RB. Not nailed.

Currently on Boyata, Miranda, Carvajal, Granqvist and Strinic. But unsure on Boyata as starter (especially looking forward) and have no captaincy option for today. Ofc Pavard leaves alot to ask of o captain, but atleast i would have a pick

CS odds suggest that a Sweden clean sheet is less likely than France, Uruguay, England & even Switzerland. Brazil, Spain, Croatia & Belgium favourites for CS.

    Alisson 4.0
    TSilva Lovren Carvajal Granqvist Pavard
    Coutinho Modric(c2) Isco Claesson Quintero

    Some things I'm considering:
    • Alisson > Muslera / Pickford

    • Carvajal > Pique (goal threat)

The problem is the player you want from both of those sides is 12m. When you cant call if they will progress from round of 16 its too big a risk and money can be spread better elsewhere in my opinion.

What are people without wildcards yet getting a full squad going to do in terms of transfers?

Having to transfer in Inui, or Sakai is already pretty inconvient, but (only relevant if they are out) doing it before other teams have played is downright risky AF.

Is there any thinking in the QF being the best time for the Max Captain?

Once we reach the semis and final (inc third place) they're all on different days so a chance to move the arm band

pro's and cons...i just feel the player pool is bigger this week and with so many explosive players (Suarez/Cr7/Messi) the chances are we might still get a massive score. Plus People are avoiding those teams/players it seems.

Hoping my goal threat def's might come good.
