Seems like DDG isn’t a popular pick here but he’s very much part of the overall template.

LEI bha TOT bur wat WOL whu NEW

Good first 8 fixtures can see 5 clean sheets. Seems a safe option till 1st wildcard.

Aye maybe, but you can't have everyone. I'm only willing to spend so much on my defence and I have other plans for my expensive defenders.

I think United is my preferred choice for defenders after Pool & City. Think I’m happy to spend 6m for him for the first 8 weeks atleast.

There's a lot of money to be spent in defence seeing as Hazard, KDB, Sterling and Kane aren't fully ready yet

Agreed. I’m usually left with 1m in all my drafts now so thought of investing it in DDG.

Tough one. But probably the first one.

I own DDG, Arnie & King. But if I got a 4.5gk it would be Patricio.

Because I already have 3 Pool & City players. Also there is no nailed United def whereas Mendy, Robbo & VVD are all great options.

What turns me off is the stat about him making 120ish saves last year in comparison to 50-odd for Ederson

United's defence really isn't that good...DDG papers over the cracks

Also, there's far cheaper options and money to spend on certain Egyptians

      1. Karan14

They’ve added more quality in midfield with Fred and another good CB is likely to join so defence should improve.

Also I was left over with money on the team I settled with so I got DDG.

2 tiny things i'm not entirely comfortable with.
    1) fabianski's swansea save record being a reason to buy him for west ham. maybe it'll play ball, maybe it'll end up matching-up, maybe it won't. new team, who knows.
    2) in a similar vein mendy's pre-injury record being used now. could argue that pep would never have bought him had he suffered this injury 12 months before he did. i think he basically needs to re-prove himself as his fitness was such a massive part of what made him so great

Best 4.5 def to pair with Tomkins?

Cedric or SCook seem the obvious options but I can’t get very excited about SOT or BOU defences.

I have Patricio so don’t want to double up on Wolves. HUD and BRI have tough fixtures.

his nail is sitting in a lot of fat. 1 bad half let alone match after gw2 and young surely comes in

Is 3 big hitters.. Auba, Kun, Salah too much and too detrimental to the squad?

Trust me on this, Tosun is a beast. He had the same minutes per goal as Vardy at end of last season. Also looked at some vids of his goals. ABSOLUTELY CLINICAL

He may be a beast, but I'm not sure that he's as much of a beast as Arnie and Zaha for the same price or King and Mitrovic at 0.5 cheaper.

Leaving a City spot unfilled. If Salah doesnt produce to to his price, its a quick Salah>KDB move gw 3
