FPL Question Time – Consult our panel ahead of Gameweek 36

The final Double Gameweek of the season is almost over and the end of 2018/19 is in sight, with just three Gameweeks left to navigate.

Fantasy Premier League managers have less than 48 hours between the culmination of Gameweek 35 and the deadline for Gameweek 36, which is at an earlier-than-usual time of 19:00 BST on Friday because of the televised clash between Liverpool and Huddersfield Town.

That game at Anfield is perhaps the central focus of many FPL bosses’ plans, especially for those with the Triple Captain chip left to use.

You can ask one of our panel a question on this topic or any other subject relating to Fantasy football by filling in the form below.

Who’s on the panel this week?

Ben Crabtree – A former winner of Fantasy Premier League, Ben finished first in the overall rankings in the 2016/17 season.

FPL Family – Lee and Sam are the well-known married couple who play Fantasy football together and run a YouTube channel documenting their thoughts. They have appeared on the Official FPL show this season.

G-Whizz – One of our very own moderators on the site, who currently has an overall rank of 6,521 going into Wednesday’s final two fixtures of Gameweek 35.

      I’m a form person so binning both Vardy and Eriksen feels all wrong especially if it means Rashford.

      Is there no other way to Liverpool? (Vardy is the one I’d keep for at least one more week)

        I can afford Eriksen to Mane, but then only 2 Liverpool players.

        Annoyingly 0.1 short of Duffy to TAA, but could do Doherty to TAA. The problem is that it requires a Duffy/Dunk/Valery 3rd defender.

    I was on Ryan, and Valery, for save points, and attacking threat, but now worried about Valery starting.

      Go for the Brighton double up. Southampton Bournemouth could be a lively south coast derby with both pretty much safe now

            Oh really, I've not watched that game to be honest.

            Bournemouth still a worry, just a glance at their games this year, putting 4 past Chelsea, and 5 past Brighton last week, but drawing blanks against Fulham, Cardiff, and Leicester, just no idea which team will turn up, especially at this stage of the season with a mid table team.

              I haven't either, just read about it. I obviously regret going Wilson over Gray (what a disgusting points swing) but I think their xG was something like 2.86, he could have had a first half hat-trick. I do have the same worry though, there's been a few teams like that this season, it's very annoying.

                Indeed it is.

                Wilson/Fraser/Brooks looked like good choices for GW35, but as so often this season, they backfired.

                I just think Southampton might feel they need another point to be sure of safety, and might set up slightly more cautiously this weekend.

    Are people considering Liverpool defenders for triple captain? Andy Robertson has blanked in just four home games all season, for example, and two of those were against Manchester United and Arsenal. Three double-digit hauls too.

      Pep’s comments about his repeated injuries this season are enough for me.
