    Is it just me or does anyone else feel that fpl players just aren’t as good this season?
    With Son now out I can’t see anyone I want. I’ve got KDB/Salah/Martial/Traore but the rest looks pants.
    I don’t want Mane as I have double Liv defence and up top ain’t much better.
    Currently rolling with Auba/Ings/DCL but it’s basically just Vardy or Jimi that I could bring in for Son/DCL

    Just feel it’s a bit boring this year. Pool dominating, City rotating and loads of injuries. No stand out players outside the already mentioned.

      That could all change once Liverpool win the league.
      If they are still in the Champions league there could be players rested.
      If they lose a game and so lose the invincible title as well there will be players rested (or lose that hunger that is driving them this year)

      Really struggling to think of anybody I want to replace Son with, leading me to consider a punt on Fernandes just to bring some excitement!

      Same players except DLC,going with 6M sub too(Barnes/Traore)could come good with blanks and rotation coming.

        True but it’s not really exciting. Not like the Ronaldo/Gerrard/Drogba/Rooney/RVP days.

        Everything seems too defensive and randoms or defenders are scoring instead. Maybe if Kane/Rashford etc were fit and Chelski hadn’t sold Haz it would be better. I miss Haz

      I think it will be even worse when Pool bag the title. Last season was way more exciting than this one. 30-60 points each week...yawn. I mean I got 83 this week but that was everytime last season. Also so many captain fails for the big players. Just not much choice this year I think, maybe because of so many injuries.

          Hazard, Eriksen, then Pogba not playing also injuries now with Son/Kane/Rashford/Sane/Sterling etc

          I guess I’m talking about big haulers.

          Ok it averaged at 61pts a week but there were some big ones. I ended up in to 40k and only in top 450k this year but still I’m just a bit bored. I mean Ings,DCL,Jimi really? I get it but I miss big hitters that can get hatties

      I feel Mourinho is exaggerating a bit, but if it was me, I'd prob move him on, as he will miss at least a good few gws

          The article here reminded me about the last BUR/BOU game: "5 shots registered by Burnley and Bournemouth combined in their Gameweek 18 clash on the south coast, which was the fewest recorded in a Premier League match since Opta’s detailed data collection began in 2003/04. The two sides meet again this weekend at Turf Moor."

          I recall I was on for a rare double clean sheet from opposing teams (Pope and Rico) and then Burnley scored.

          Yes but I would keep Aguero vs Leicester as a differential. He is in my ML so would be hoping he plays. If he hauls I jump well in my ML as nobody owns him

    I would like to ask two questions please guys if you don't mind:

    1) Is it worth switching Salah for Mane and captaining him) as a Big differential in my ML since all the players above me do not own Mane?

    2) I currently own Aguero. Would you captain him for next GW over Salah or Mane?

      You could captain Mane, but if you drop Salah to do so, it might not help you much.

      Aguero could easily be rested ahead of the CL match, and maybe come on for a 1-point cameo, so he would be a huge risk. It could pay off, but doesn't seem high-percentage.

    Obviously Son has to go. I'll get a gw 28 keeper later. Which transfers do you like more?

    A).Son + dendonker-->Fernandes/Martial+ traore -4
    B) Son+ cathcart-->traore and wolves defender (can afford any) -4
    C) Son+ dendonker-->traore+grealish -4. BUT would have some nice cash left over for next gw transfers. Grealish blanks soon
