Isn't it more, what makes your team different from the majority who have already used their WC earlier?

The most template WC should be a differential in itself.

Decided to hold the wildcard. Team doesn't look *that* bad, and with the GW35 uncertainty I think there'll be better times for it. But this is going to be a very anxious weekend.

Best option for the rest of the season?

    1) Salah, Rudiger, Coady
    2) KDB, Phillips, Dias

Will have Azpi & Mendy for CHE coverage as well as Shaw & TAA in Defence.

Absolutely do not start Vydra over Nacho! West Ham are not solid at the back, highly likely Leicester will score. Its Burnley, do you really ever count on them scoring against anyone they play?

Depends how much of a risk taker you are. Lacazette played this morning and arsenal did not look good. Could easily be rested. Nacho could easily score against west ham given they have conceded 6 goals in 2 games. No way you bench ings. I’d bench laca and expect him to play the last 20 of the game with ings and nacho starting

I had a similar decision. I decided to leave Kdb. No guarrantee he doesn’t play against Leeds. I’ll take 45 minutes of KdB to be honest especially as a differential. I decided to hold and not go with Salah this week. If KdB doesn’t play I get Bamford off the bench

Struggling to pick the better defense better Castagne v Rudiger
Leicester fixtures are great and he’s nailed but rudiger is cheaper, but possibly a rotation risk.
    Any thoughts?

Idk if he's worth 5m. I would go with Leicester attack over their defense. Why not consider Wolves? Good fixtures and already 8 Clean Sheets. 1 less than last season

I’ve got nacho up top and don’t trust Wolves at all. If Leicester had an attacking defender I liked of prefer them over any other Chelsea or Wolves def. I don’t fully trust the Tuchel line ups

I'm trying him and Rudiger on WC. Rudiger looks fairly nailed. Tried Mendy and Zouma double months ago and it went badly but Tuchel has the lads on their toes, literally fighting for their places 🙂

Thoughts on this WC31 BB32 team? 0.5m ITB

    Mendy (Forster)
    Holding Rudiger TAA Coady Konsa
Salah Neto / Lingard Bruno Son Jota
    Vydra Nacho Kane

is going without a CIty defender an issue? Could go KDB over Salah and make the move next week also. Can't fit Dias and Shaw at the moment.

    1. Zebras
      • 8 Years

I think going without city defense is fine. There are other cs to be had elsewhere.

        3 years, 7 months ago

What about Shaw. Was 0.1m away from him hence ended up with Konsa.

What are your thoughts on the Lingard vs Neto debate?

Was keen on Mount but can't seem to find a way to slot him in atm.

        1. Zebras
          • 8 Years

Loving Lingard. Have had him for weeks and he’sa season keeper imo. Wolves yet to show promise of stringing together a few goals.
Shaw is a good shout. I haven’t considered him enough actually

          1. HammersXI
            • 12 Years
            3 years, 7 months ago

What is pulling me is that Neto has Sheff and Fulham coming up, if they can't score against those 2 they never will. While Lingard has Lei and Newcastle.. Newcastle is the good fixture, just currently put off by Leic at the moment

    2. Thomas Magnum
      • 9 Years
      3 years, 7 months ago

No city defense is not ideal but also not worth tearing your team up for as you have pretty good balance as is. Keep Salah this week I think, at least you know he should start, which same can't be said of KDB

      1. HammersXI
        • 12 Years
        3 years, 7 months ago

I currently have Dias and his price rise didn't do anything for me. I rather remove him and stick with this back 5 comfortably and rotate.

My only question is the Neto vs Lingard debate (which would change to Raphinha soon again). Do you think Neto is worth the punt with Lingard's current form?

        1. Thomas Magnum
          • 9 Years
          3 years, 7 months ago

Yeah I see what you mean now, that rotation does look like it would be worth it.
For me I'm going Lingard, just because of form and fixtures aren't that bad either. WHU and Lingard both have more to play for than Wolves so that pushes me away, although as you know Wolves have the fixtures but Neto has nobody to assist. Antonio injury does worry be a little in respect to Lingard but I think he'll still be effective.

          1. HammersXI
            • 12 Years
            3 years, 7 months ago

Yeah Lingard didn't play well once Antonio came off which is a worry. He and West Ham are the form team but I'm not sure whether I should be looking at form vs fixtures at this stage. I kinda want Mount / Maddison but can't afford them sadly unless I do Konsa -> Phillips

            1. Thomas Magnum
              • 9 Years
              3 years, 7 months ago

I would consider the Konsa move but just not sure I would want Maddison just yet so soon after injury and Mount seems a rotation risk for me, not fully convinced about Chelsea offensively but that's just me

              1. HammersXI
                • 12 Years
                3 years, 7 months ago

Just by watching the past game, they looked a lot better when he came in. But oh well. I guess that's the cost of getting Salah in. I feel more at ease captaining him over other players this week.

I'm eyeing Konsa for the 33 fixture

    3. GreennRed
      • 13 Years
      3 years, 7 months ago

Looks lovely. No City is a good plan with rotation and league won unless you want Ederson. Neto is quality but I'm not a believer in supposedly nice fixtures turning an out of form team into a confident team winning games. But Lingard is streets ahead of him, much fresher, more than double Neto's points for the last 8 games and demanding a start for Euros.

      1. HammersXI
        • 12 Years
        3 years, 7 months ago

Thats for sure. But Neto has Sheff and Fulham in the next 2 which is kind of swaying me at the moment. I do agree Lingard is in the form of his life, but unsure about the Antonio effect right there.

For sure I'm scared about not having City esp against Leeds (sadly), but the risk is too high atm. My friend had 3 city players last week and had a grand total of 0. Doesn't bode well for confidence when I'm planning to BB next week.

        Cheers man!

Sorry, I should've clarified better. No BB and have Phillips so the 4.4 defender will pretty much rotate with Phillips as 5th defender

If Alioski keeps his place (a big if), he's good for the last 3-4 fixtures and Phillips could cover currently.

            • 9 Years
            3 years, 7 months ago

Yeah he and Cooper did also cross my mind, had Alioski in my side when he scored around Christmas which were good times, then I held long enough to see the benchings, if only his gw33 fixture was a bit better. Maybe I can go with someone else over the 3 weeks then monitor Alioski for then

Don't expect much for 4.4 Tete, but he misses GW33. 4.2m Lascelles for a team fighting for their lives, almost certainly will concede but a slim chance of a set piece goal.

Thoughts on WC team? No chips.
    Mendy Forster
    Rudiger Holding Phillips Coady Veltman

Would do Sterling to Son in 32.

If you're not playing Vydra this week then you should just transfer to 4.3m and bank the money in. Seems like you'll be playing 3-5-2 most weeks anyways.

Seems very light on defense, but I assume you'll be doing Sterling -> Son next week?

      Besides that GTG!

I figure I would be playing Vydra over Iheanacho for this week and in 33 for son or Kane. I took the defense through a planner and it rotates quite nicely until the end of the season. How would you reckon I upgrade the defense?

    Have both KDB and Gundo.

Feel 1 or both could be benched, leaving only Leeds players coming off bench (vs City).

Am really tempted to do Gundo to Lingard for a hit. Comes out to 0.0. Even for a hit could pay dividends and like it better going forward as well..

It's true. It was better when Kun and KDB were out. Gundo was predictable but Cit are fairly healthy. Am going to triple captain this week to hide the hit as well. As am playing mini league #2 this GW..

Woah that's a big risk when there are DGWs coming up. Leeds are going to be exposed but I don't expect city to hit them for 5 tbh. The reverse fixture was 1-1. Could have been 3-3 but yeah

Thoughts on this WC team? Don't love having kilman in there but I can upgrade him in 33 once I downgrade sterling to son for 32

If you're captaining Sterling you better have a strong VC. I just have a sneaky feeling Sterling might not rly be in favor atm. He's good offensively but the lack of tracking back will be an issue vs Leeds. I would actually play Coady over Rudiger tbh.

        Thnx for the reply mate

Yes my VC is currently on Salah, if there are any doubts over Sterling, I would rather go directly to Son n save myself a FT

His current form / starting run has been quite questionable which is a worry

Cheers I like Spursfixtures in double, both everton and Saints provide plenty of space which suits spurs well, an extra attacker could prove be a good differential

    Posted this on old page!

Had halfplanned getting Shaw on WC but he might be injured. Is there any more news circulating other than Solskjaer saying "I think and hope he should be ready for the weekend."? Rashford also possibly injured. Might just keep Dallas now.

Yeah I saw those reports and have decided to take the risk that he's fine and include him on the WC.

My main regret this season is I feel asleep when planning to do Taylor -> Shaw at BGW18 (the deadline was 4am-ish in Aus time). He was 4.7m then, he's 5.3m now and probably still undervalued.

If something more concrete comes up in the next 12 hrs I'll work out a plan B.

Got Coady and Holding who have good fixtures if he is injured for a game or two

Cheers lads. Food for thought. I put in screenshot of template WC on phone and still have Dallas over Digne, plus Shaw. Dallas does OK against so called big teams, no CS expected. Will decide around midday if there's update on Shaw. Re

    Better option?
    A) Keep Son from now on WC have an extra 1.9 for the squad now
    B) One week punt on Sterling and probably C him, will then sell for Son next week and will take a -4 and use the extra 1.9itb on one player next week

I have managed to finalise my WC without asking everyone here if it's ok.

    I hope it's ok.

Probs TC next GW, and FH, uhh, 33 or 35 or 36 or 38.

Can't be ok unless you post it on here, much like a restaurant meal not being legitimate unless you post it online... Kidding
In the same predicament with TC and FH. TC makes the most sense but almost prefer some one week fixtures better

Good question. They probably are. I always think shooting is kicking but sure these stats, xG etc baffle me half the time.

Seems solid but there are some risks. Antonio injured, Mahrez, gundog and stones may have minutes managed or not play at all. You could go very deep into your bench if it goes wrong for you. Obviously no Liverpool coverage would be where to go with a transfer. Don’t think you need to load on them but consider getting one

    Wildcard team. Rank 1652.

    Leno
    Rudiger Coady TAA
    Salah Jota Lingard Fernandes
    Richarlison Ings (C) Kane

    Sanchez, Shaw, Smith-Rowe, Mitchell.

To be fair with your current OR I would be making your own choices and not put yourself in a position to be swayed by the crowd. Obviously what you have been doing has been working for you all season

Looks good. Getting Ings too. Nice Richarlison pick. Not fond of Leno. Supposedly easier fixtures won't turn Arsenal into a better defence and Bellerin is nowhere near Tierney's class. Could go Sanchez to Forster (BGW33) and Leno to Mendy or Martinez.
