Five players who could help you win your FPL mini-league in Gameweek 38

Seven-time top 10k finisher Zophar looks at the Premier League’s in-form attacks and leakiest defences before picking out Fantasy assets to consider for Gameweek 38. He also reveals his own FPL team for the final day of 2020/21.

With the season drawing to a close, there are still mini-leagues to be won and ranks to be improved upon. In this piece, I will be looking at five players who I feel can give you the push you need.

Spoiler alert: I have resisted the temptation to add Timo Werner (£9.2m) to this list…

Who are the form attacks?

That’s it from me for the 2020/21 season. It has been a challenging one for all of us in many ways but I hope that playing FPL has provided some sort of escape from it all. I hope you have enjoyed the content this year, both on the podcast and in these articles. I look forward to seeing you again next year.

    If I can't get rid of DCL without a hit, is there a case for playing Vydra over him for the SHU fixture? Not seeing anyone starting him, but he's predicted to start.

      I think Torres could be a good pick - reckon that game may be a goal-fest.

      Also, I wouldn't captain Salah if the lead is that wide (assuming your rival has Salah) - Perhaps give the armband to someone your rival doesn't have?

    Got a 22 point ML lead, but as you can see my team is very much limping towards the finish line... will probably need a hit just to have 11 starting. I'm telegraphing the fact that my rival will get Mane in, so he's going to come in for Bruno, the question is how to fund it for a hit...

    A) DCL > Antonio: Probably better as a stand-alone transfer but may leave me with only 10 starters...
    B) Jota > Raph

    Rival has both Antonio and Raph, hence those being the options.

    Should I bring Dallas in for Shaw, captain Bamford and forget about it or take a hit and bring Salah in to captain him?
    I know that the manager that is chasing will captain Salah.
