Have 1Fh and WC left? Whats the best plan, them doubles are awful in 33, not one team has a decent double. Liverpool and City's single games are more appealing.

Yea, its not great. Still have 2 fh, and its hard to see how fh in 33 gets any where close to gains id have got had i played it in past few gws.

You can definitely gain. It will be a gamble but can pay off. Tripling up on Newcastle / Leic / Arsenal. Could also backfire but that's the game!

I wouldn't triple on any of them. Leicester have best fixtures but defense poor.

FH successful! 74 pts even though I probably should have went Saka over Martinelli.

Was nervous using the FH due to the lack of games but I felt like the games had goals in them. Surprised the Villa game didn't have at least 3 goals. Arsenal defensively have impressed me this year. After their performance against Liverpool, I should have seen them keeping Villa out.

It was most definitely a week to FH, cant understand why anyone would say any different. If I hadn't have used FH I would have had 5 playing as Raph and Martinelli were out.

Same here. I’m glad I saved my FH as bigger upside in 33 or 36 imo. I got 63 (-8) and those that used FH in my Leagues got 70 ish, so I’m happy although I guess everyone’s situation is different

Nice strategy, I have Son but no easy way to get to Kane, and I dont really want both due to Spurs inconsistency and funds.

A big reason I free hit is because I had Son/Kulu but wanted Kane (C).

Also did not want to take any hits. Now Trent is out, I may sell him to fund Kane. Liverpool's fixture list is mad.

For me, it depends when he's coming back. Liverpool have a lot of games. He doesn't have cover but Klopp with rotate him once I feel.

Think the City/Utd games I'm OK not owning him (depending on my team's need for funds).

I was locked in to using FH since I only had 5 players playing this gameek. Basically if I hadn't used my FH would have been on less than 10 points LOL.

Hah yeah. In my non-FH team I had Ramsdale, Doherty, Raphinha, Kulusevski and Jimenez. Would have likely gotten Saka or Barnes with my transfers so not many points to get from there... The FH was very succesful so I'm happy with how I've played my chip strategy so far 🙂

Can get this BB team for DGW 33 for -4.

    Ramsdale*, Dubravka*
    Rudiger, Doherty, Dunk*, TAA, Cancelo
    Saka*, Barnes*, Salah, Kulu, Fraser*
    Weghorst*, Lacazette*, Kane

Will then still be stucked with 2 FHs to use in GW 36 and 37 or 38.

Do you already own Dunk? Brighton's fixtures & form are really off-putting. I'm wishing I could avoid playing Sanchez v tot mci but Sa blanks so dont have much choice unless I spend FT on changing a keeper

Anyone else on the Kane/Son double up just for 29-30 now wondering whether to keep both for the run in? Leaves my team a bit inflexible - cant get to Chelsea mids or Sancho - but Spurs and Arsenal's fixtures are so good I'm contemplating going forward with this structure:
    Salah Son Saka Martinelli 6.5
    Kane

    1. TopBinFC
      • 2 Years
      2 years, 6 months ago

I had both for 30, only cause I used a FH. I have Son in my team, would rather Kane but no easy way to get to him without taking hits. I dont think I want both cause knowing Spurs they will blank a few weeks. The 2 together take up a league portion of budget and means having weaker players.

I did think it was too expensive and never really considered it til now. But my main concern is that doing something like Son & Martinelli ➡ Havertz & Sancho means taking out nailed players who have only the league to focus on for a Chelsea asset who may be rested either side of the Real Madrid games

        1. TopBinFC
          • 2 Years

I dont think Martinelli is nailed going forward. i know he was excellent v Liverpool but created very very little and missed a chance. I think ESR will play more now and Saka will play all games.

do you plan to overlook or play the double in 31?

Everton and Burnley aren't really great prospects..

If you had to pick four (d) aha out oh these option who would there be?

    A- Weghorst
    B- Cornet
    C- DCL
    D- Gray

    ?

I have Weghorst and if Ramsdale is out for long period I'm thinking about moving him to Pope. I'd take Gordon over any other Everton asset just because he is cheap and overall Everton are really bad.

Have WC, BB and FH left.

I’m considering WC now, BB in 33 with some cheap doubles and FH in 36. Thoughts?

    1. aapoman

BB is way better in gw36 since bigger teams will double then. I'm FHing in gw33 by the looks of it to get players from teams I wouldn't otherwise want e.g. ManU.

      2. Marty McFly
        • 12 Years
        2 years, 6 months ago

But you don’t need 15 players for BB… you need 4? Is your bench in either week going to have 4 big hitters on it? You’re only boosting 4 cheap players on a bench boost.

        1. tbos83
          • 3 Years
          2 years, 6 months ago

Still think 36 is better as more teams will be playing so you can have doublers on the bench

          1. Marty McFly
            • 12 Years
            2 years, 6 months ago

If I BB in gw33 I’ll have 4 players on my bench with doubles.

            So the only considerations are:

            1. Are there 4 cheapies with better gw36 fixtures than gw33 fixtures?

            2. Are the mid/premium options with a dgw in 33 better than the single gw options? (I don’t necessarily think they are)

If you have a WC still then the main upside of the FH in gw33 is to make the most of the doubles for your starting XI, not your bench.

    Any advice here. Thinking either-
    1. Dead end to 32, FH 33 + WC 34.
    2. WC now for 31 through 36 (excluding 33 for FH).

    Will need to monitor Ramsdale/TAA/Raphinha.

    Ramsdale.
    TAA, Cancelo, Doherty, Saiss.
    Salah (c), Barnes, Kulusevski, Raph.
    Kane (vc), Laca.
    Bach, Tierney, Ramsey, King.
    1ft, 0.8m ITB.
    WC + 1 FH left.

    Two questions about the fixtures.

    1. Are GW31, GW32 and GW33 fully confirmed now? Or is there a chance extra fixtures will be added in these gameweeks?
    2. In which gameweeks are the remaining postponed matches likely to be added? Chelsea and Aston Villa could have up to 3 extra fixtures, yet to be planned!

It's the eternal question this season.

Other than Kane and occasionally Ronaldo it's slim pickings up top.

Wingers should be forwards, not midfielders.

Antonio looks like he's an occasional assist.

      Wood at Newcastle?

Toney or Pukki on the bench. Play 4-5-1 with Kane until BB the cheaper 2 strikers?

Any chance Pieters gets his place back for next GW?

I have him on my bench still and he could be useful if he starts

Anyone else not particular excited about DGW33? Fixtures don't look that juicy tbh. Has me questioning whether it's a good week to use a FH.

Was originally planning FH33 and BB36, but unsure now.

Exact same position as you, am now thinking BB gw36 then FH gw 37/38

I’m not keen to use FH for DGW33.

Already have triple Arsenal, Broja & Livra. Can get Barnes, Maddison/Sancho and a defender and I should be covered.

Agree, but have 2 FHs and BB left.

So building for BB in eighter GW 33 or 36, using a FH in GW 33 or 36, then the last FH in GW 37 or 38.

Think Dubravka is a better option than Pope, with better fixtures

Havertz is the main target although a Sancho punt is tempting me also

    Just tried FH33 with 15DGWs, that's fun:

    Pope (Dubravka)
    Castagne Schar Gabriel (Roberts Livramento)
Fernandes Saka Sancho Barnes Maddison [C]
    Ronaldo Lacazette (Armstrong)

Could Charlie Taylor be an option? 2 doubles, great fixtures and looks to be nailed again?

Hi all was planning to use one of my FH's for GW33 but just realised I will already have 10 starters. Would you:

      a) Save chip
      b) Play FH to bring in Kane
      c) Prepare team from now to bring in Kane
      d) Something else

      Team as below:

      Ramsdale/Sanchez
      Cancelo Dier TAA Rudiger
      Kulu Son Saka Salah
      Lacazette Broja
