Which of these is worth an FT before the IB? Baldock starts in both B and C

    A) Gabriel>Udogie
    B) Eze>Maddison/Mbeumo
    C) Joao Pedro>Alvarez (bench Eze)

Last season I benched Zaha when he went cold and he immediately had a 15-pointer. I never recovered.

Tempting for sure……but could Gabriel suddenly be back in the fold after the IB? Will we have far more pressing issues with 2 FT?

Eze’s underlying numbers look really good so I wouldn’t sell him yet. A or C for me, probably A.

I’m in the same boat with Gabriel and I’m considering benching him for Baldock. It just feels wrong! Good luck.

    1) Pickford > Flekken

I doubt it, it would seem Ideal speculation and a fervent fpl mind at work.

However,.now I've typed it and I've not chased one price change and would be £2.8m to the good.

It's just with Gabriel still sat there you've gotta think about 0.1's eventually.

That's what has priced me out of Pedro to Awoniyi after all.

Surely someone at the game would have spread a rumour with substance otherwise?

I normally wouldn't think too much on it and I'm not now, but it does feel a bit odd that a team that had a good few first teamers on the bench didn't have him, especially with Jackson the only attacker in that vein

Headaches could already be forming for City assets:

    19-20 Sep: UCL match 1
    23 Sep: Nottingham Forest, H, GW6
    26-27 Sep: Newcastle, A, EFL cup R3
    30 Sep: Wolves, A, GW7
    3-4 Oct: UCL match 2
    8 Oct: Arsenal, A, GW8

Watch for the UCL groups draw tomorrow, the worry would be you get rotation in the nice fixtures of Forest at home for instance

I'll probably bench him this week to prioritise other transfers. Already lost 0.2 so another 0.1 won't make much difference. Only potential problem for you is I'm not sure whether Baldock is a guaranteed starter for gw4?

The probability is that you won’t get your points back in one match if you take a hit but if it’s part of a strategy or if you just want to take a chance, go for it. At the start of the season you’ve got more chance of building up team value and will get more matches to get the points uplift of a sensible hit. Both Rashford and Mitoma could get lots of points in the coming weeks of course.

I’d be happy to start Baldock this week but would look for a good opportunity to drop Gabriel (assuming he doesn’t come back into favour)

Start Henry over Botman ( even if he wasn’t injured) and Areola over Onana.

Team is fine; May be best to roll the transfer ahead of the IB.
