    Saw a lot of United fans before the season on how much an upgrade Onana was.

    As a former GK myself, didnt see it really. I give Onana credit for his passing and distribition, he is really good and a présence.

    And ddg made his mistakes, but honestly, he was a good goalstopper and thats what you want first in a gk no?
    Lot of seasons went by and DDG for me was always with the best performers out there over course of the season.

    So all in all, even before this game, not convinced on Onana as a gk in general (besides his feet) and think utd made a mistake treating Ddg like that.

    Hope he can convince me wrong.

        He was a good shotstopper, saved utd lots of times and im not even a utd supporter or ddg fan.
        As a keeper i do know people only remember your mistakes thats all.
        No gk is blameless.

              You’re arguing against facts though - look up his goals conceded versus his xGA - it’s been poor for ages.

              What’s the best club who would swap their keeper for him? Even Fulham would laugh you off.

                Does that make him a bad gk? Imo no.

            Nope. It’s pretty much where you go if you want to play in front of a bunch of tourists who don’t really care about the result, and get paid a load of money. Look at the Brighton 3rd goal at the weekend - half the Man Utd fans were smiling and taking photos

          Man Utd’s form is on the Glazers. 200m spend in the summer and Ten Hag having a higher net spend than Klopp in 8 years is just not enough. You need to actually back the manager. Plus they didn’t upgrade the canteen and polish the Old Trafford roof
