He's like Aubameyang and Sterling for me. I need to delete this imp from my FPL analytics.

No that I know of. He was close last week. I hope and expect him to start and keep Trippier benched. Two weeks should be time long enough.

With games every third or four day in all of February, I would presume a lot more Pep Roulette, if everybody is fit. That counts 10, or 11 if you count Bobb (who's going to be a factor when you don't want it) for six places. Fit example, after Copenhagen in the first CL tie, they have Everton before that, then they play Chelsea in the weekend after, on a Saturday and then Brentford Tuesday. That's the double, and Brentford is the one I would assume rotation for some. Bobb will be in contention to start this one, Nunes, etc.
It's five games in two weeks.

I'm looking at Son to KDB but I don't think I will do it this week. I have a feeling he plays in the FA cup and rested for burnley.

Will watch the FA cup and see what pep does.

I have Son and a lot of cash in him but I think it's time to move to someone better.

I will ship Alvarez for Haaland when he's back.

I think De Bruyne and Haaland with Walker or someone is enough.

I think there's lots of other kids instead of Foden when his high ceiling is in the basement

Too early based on his post match comments unless you are ok with 20-25 minutes for a few games

“I know I'm not able to do that for 90 minutes at the moment but I can put in a shift for 20-25 at full pace. I can feel it in my lungs with the cold, but it can't be any better than this can it?"

    4. bench boost for every gamew…
      • 8 Years
      1 year, 11 months ago

He's basically saying that his body can't cope with the intensity in the beginning of the games yet, so unless you think he's recreating that every game for the next month then yes.
People doesn't take into account that while Kdb was phenomenal, Newcastle went empty on the tank from 60 minutes onwards and couldn't make subs (or Howe doesn't want to as he thinks his bench is suboptimal). The climate of the game in terms of tempo and intensity were two contrasts, second half Newcastle lost the engine.

KDB had quite an impact .A price point not easy to get to. Could be ready by 25. My choice will be Foden and TAA vs KDB and Garnacho/Eze.

I’m thinking it’s too early to say but I don’t think FH. I may WC in 24 and TC in 25 but all three of those players could be injured or become re injured and Salah may be knackered from AFCON with two PL matches in three days being particularly difficult in that context.

Broad plan is actually bench boost in 25, if liverpool moves there, i can likely get to 6 or 7 doublers and other players have great single fixtures. Too early to decide for sure though but wpuld mean I can really attack a wilcard in 30/31 without needing to carry a bench.

    Areola

I have a hunch because of how well City have coped w/o Haaland which looked unthinkable beforehand, and because he's shown he's only human where he was largely injury free last season, he's going to be part of the rotation fun too going forwards. He'll still start 95% of the games probably but I can see Pep benching him, potentially in the plum games for FPL.

9.3 itb lads and I am planning to wildcard 24/25 in tune for the Salah/Son return so if Haaland out. I'm thinking about a punt next gw with Eze as captain.

McTominay to Eze look good here

    Areola / Dubravka
    TAA Porro Gabriel Taylor Guehi
    Saka Jota McTominay Bowen Palmer
    Darwin Watkins Solanke

McTominay to someone from City who you captain surely? Its not going to end well next week if you're going no City imo.

Yeah I get you, KDB would be a sure thing if we knew he will start so the other option I guess is Foden.

          Or Foden & KDB?

I am debating wild carding - I did Foden to KDB last night when I was drunk. However there are another four moves I would like to do, five if I include bringing Haaland in for Solanke (still a bit early). Could also have a conversation about my defence and if there are moves there too. I usually wait until nearer the DGWs so I can bring in all DGW players and then BB but I do think before next GW is a good time. Any thoughts?

Ouch. Foden could easily haul against Burnley. He's still a good FPL player. Just have to take the rough with the smooth.
My main dilemma is whether to get KDB gets Haaland's City spot for the plum game v BUR. I still think he'll start on the bench (based on his post match comments) but he is capable of doing damage in minutes.

Yeah I wish I’d done it for Bowen to be honest and then I’d have had Foden and KDB for that sweet match but the choice has been taken away from me now by the devil liquor. I think he may start but okay 60. Additionally, if I downgraded Porro to say Dougherty could also strengthen my bench a little meaning more transfers potentially further justifying its use now

I distinctly remember last season thinking to myself that Gordon is one of those players who you would put in a set and forget team all season. But I never owned him once yet, lol.

Every year I tell myself to stick with set and forget players and every year I spend half the time trying to get them back in after selling because of a handful of blanks.

I agree Gordon is probably one of them. Think I might try and stick with Palmer, Porro, Gabriel, Watkins and Solanke as well but who knows

Yea, its good t have some spots that you don't need to change and just have patience with. Gordon however will now be like 8.5 next season -_-

I still don't think he'll be that high because of Harvey Barnes potentially taking minutes away

Foden (c) v BUR has the potential to be glorious from a rank perspective right?

I would never cap Foden personally.

    Anyone doing Foden to KDB(C)?

    Way more fun
    More explosive
    More nailed?

Foden looked awful when KDB came on. Hugged the touchline with his tail between his legs.

Who's with me? Even if KDB comes on late (if he's not fully fit yet) can still clearly outscore Phil.

It's going to be on ...

Depending on Alvarez to Haaland too.

I've got Walker so I'm 3 Man City but with £7.2m itb and 2 FTs it looks mostly fine for a few weeks time.

I will wait despite 0.1m here or there.

          Yep

If I sell Trent as well I've got 5.9m for a new defender so if I get Doughty I'm not worried about 0.1m here or there.

Will just play the week in front of me.

35 points so far with 7 to go.

It’s what I’m doing, but probably won’t captain given minutes risk.

Went Foden on a WC and regret it already. KDB just so much better.

Keeping my options open for now, e.g. if Trent is out for longer than expected / Fulham win the cup SF / Haaland has another setback, then it should be easy enough to have Foden & KDB

Haven't really been keeping track of who has doubles and blanks coming up. Can anyone enlighten me please.

Bournemouth and Luton are due a double. City are as well right, but who else? Was it Brentford?

    Any blanks expected?

Pool likely to join City for a double in 25 and then blank in 26. Also Chelsea and Spurs
