    Pickford
    Regulion - Doughty - Gabriel
Luis Diaz - KDB - Jota - Foden
Toney - Haaland (tc) - Darwin

    Leno Richarlison Porro Estupinian

9 Doublers enough? Can't justify anymore myself.

      KDB,
Diaz and Darwin might not all double of course...

Jota probably will with Salah out.

      What’s your plan for gw26?

Probably Darwin to Watkins, Diaz or Jota to Kudus for a -4 and play with 10.

Although might go Garnacho just so I can afford Son in 27.

Is Regullion a sensible choice with those fixtures? I'm tempted to get him and Jota for Porro and Richarlison

I have Martinez and I will have Watkins and Kudus in gw26.

    In gw25:

    A) Schar > Alex Moreno

    B) Livramento > Reguilon

    1. Tonyawesome69

B - Digne available might be an issue for Moreno xMins

Which one would you do?: A leaves me with 11 in gw26 with 1FT

    a) Palmer, Porro > Diaz, Walker (-4)
    b) Bowen, Porro, Jota, Walker (-4)

    1. Tonyawesome69

      Keep Bowen

Palmer blanks in GW26, Bowen doesn't. So can you still field 11 in GW26 if you just do Bowen to Jota? I'm not convinced Walker is worth the hit he's not even starting.

Yes. Nah, I cant. But then I could for a hit gw26 instead of 25. But want to take advantage of the double. Difficult!

I’ve taken this from a Reddit post:

“ Hinshelwood's injury might help him. Means Lamptey moves from the left to the right, leaving Estupiñán able to slot back in on the left.”

Haaland + which other two forwards? Thinking beyond the DGW and consider I bought Watkins for 8.0 (currently 8.8).

    a) Toney

    b) Watkins

    c) Darwin

    1. Tonyawesome69

Boils down to wanting to use 2 transfers to buy and sell Darwin.

      Toney - double 25, plays in 26 & 29
      Watkins - plays in 26 & 29

I’m keeping Watkins. Nailed, in form and involved in everything Villa create. Coin flip for the other 2, I went Darw.

Talking myself into ridding my team of the bench boost headache this week. All three regular defenders have a decent game, loathe to bench any, or Palmer. If I start all my regulars I will have with two FTs :

    Turner - > Flekken 1 FT DGW
Palmer - v City (could score against old club - the narrative etc)
Doughty - (genuine bench defender I got him in for Gusto last week) DGW
    Branthwaite - home v Palace

    Areola
    Porro Gabriel Estupinan
    Saka Son (Ode>Foden2nd FT) Richarlison
    Haaland(c) Alvarez Watkins

  8. Bob B
    • 11 Years

Original plan and I have exact money to do:

Palmer & Gusto to Barkley & Doughty

I am bench boosting but with the TAA news, should I?

    A. Change plans, bring in Reguilon for TAA
    B. Make the transfers, take a hit later if TAA is ruled out

    1. Royal5
      • 13 Years
      7 months, 8 days ago

Why are you considering Reguillon? The hardest DGW possible and tough fixtures even after that. Alson extreamly injury prone.

      1. Bob B
        • 11 Years
        7 months, 8 days ago

Plays in 26 so saves a transfer and in blank 29, offers more attacking threat than Pinnock for example.

Struggling to find the obvious Trent replacement:

Ake - Might only start one game
Bradley - Feels like buying another rotation player
VVD - Feels a bit meh, but probably at least safe for starts

VVD of the three, depends if you need players for 26 and 29 though

He'll start the Brentford game. Rotation could happen in the Luton game with Elliott and Gakpo playing in the front 3 instead of Darwin/Jota/Diaz

Well yes if Trent is ruled out or low xMins for 25. Makes no sense to hold 8.6m def not to get the mins in 25, blanks in 26 and likely blanks in 29

He's probably ok, but with Bradley and both Robertson and Tsimikas available it means also Gomez could play right back. And vs Luton Gomez probably plays as Klopp wants physicality. Bradley will play one too, the question could be if Trent plays mid vs Luton for 60mins, that's not likely, but a possibility due to Szoboszlai injured.

    Dubravka

Fair enough. The quality of those minutes / opposition is important too, though? I’m tempted to bring Darwin back then just move him back to Solanke for 28. Could just do that for free and forget about KDB?

If you treat the reguilon move depricated over bgw 26 and bgw 29 he pays off

      Gordon > kdb worth it

Solanke> Darwin depends if you want Solanke back for his double, but IMO Darwin hauls in the dgw so Id pull the trigger.
Toney would be the safer choice though, same reason as Regui

"Alex is not fit, Jorgi hasn't trained almost all week as he's been carrying an issue and it took him a while to recover on top of that. Gabi [Jesus] is not available in the squad and Emile turned his ankle in training so he's not fit to play."

No too much to ask. It’s asking him to get further up the pitch a little more than he’s used to. Or have a 90m torpedo shot like the Incredible Hulk

Start Caoimhín but fair chance it's Alisson both games and Neto subs.

Well, 12 is the most you could have.

And then you'd probably want four nil nils, with a couple of penalty saves in a couple of games.

Not sure if this is serious or tongue in cheek.

Really hope Gabriel stays quiet and doesn't punish my decision to enjoy family time on Saturday evening rather than fanatically refreshing twitter.
