I still annoyingly have Alvarez as well but can't prioritise him this GW?

    1FT 1.4ITB
    Areola Turner
    Saliba Taylor Gusto* Doughty* Bradley*
    Saka Garnacho Foden Jota* Salah*
    Haaland Alvarez Solanke

    A. Jota to Hwang/Neto and play 10
    B. Jota & Doughty to Hwang/Neto & Dalot -4

Imagine ignoring Hwang or Neto this week and them getting double digit points but you went for Douglas Luiz just because he’s got a fixture in GW29.

Honestly - Just plan for this week, your Douglas Luiz and Leon Baileys could be injured by GW29 anyway.

Agree, Luiz could be injured by 29 anyway, it’s a good month away

Need a 3rd and 4th defender to help see me through until GW30/31. Keeping options open but leaning more towards FH29 as things stand.

To partner Gabriel, Saliba, Gusto, which 2 out of these 3 would you prefer…

    1) Senesi
    2) Reguilon
    3) Pau Torres

Leaning towards upside of 1) and 2) currently, as suspect West Ham might get a battering from Brentford and I like the double for Senesi, but all feel a little underwhelming.

    Jota to Hwang or Garnacho?

Garnacho makes me able to get Salah without a hit.

When would you be getting Salah?

maybe leaning Garnacho slightly if Salah purchase isn’t too far in the future

Currently fielding 10 for this gw and need to decide on a defender to bring in. Van De Ven or Gusto will be the outgoing player and the shortlist is looking like (in current order of preference):

    a) Senesi (poor fix this gw but the double coming up. Not sure if Bournemouth blank gw29 though?)
    b) Van Hecke (cheap as, and decent fix)
    c) Regulion (attacking potential as noted)
    d) Dawson (not convinced, seems a bit dull!)

    Outgoing:
    1. Gusto
    2. Van De Ven

    Which combo guys?

      D2. Keep Gusto.

Maybe you should consider Ait Nouri or Semedo, as they are more attacking.

I prefer Regulion over those 2 for attacking potential. Wolves have the better fixtures though, so those two are options, thanks. Agree also re keeping Gusto.

This article helped a bit but thought I’d ask in my own way. Which defender is the best shout over the next 3? In reality I’d only really need them for game week 26 & 28. There’s lots of team with 2 home games in that time.

Depends on budget. The article suggests Arsenal defenders the way to go...out of my budget so doubling up not an option for me (currently got Gabriel). I'm struggling to look past Senesi currently, but this gw fixture is a b1tch.

How did West Ham draw Freiburg again in the round of 16?

Seems kind of unfair. Finished 1-2 in the group stage and then play again in the Ro16.

Yeah it's kind of ridiculous. 3 of the 8 ties are just repeats of the group stage.

        West Ham-Freiburg, Roma-Slavia Prague, Leverkusen-Qarabag

They should have a rule preventing teams from the same group getting drawn against each other in the Ro16.

If only for this weekend, Estu better to take a gamble on. Zinchenko will defo not go directly into the 11 after being out for a while and not even being passed fit yet. However, long term he’s prob the better pick.

    Areola
    Gabriel Maguire Lamptey
    De Bruyne Foden Saka Garnacho
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

    Dubravka Guehi* Porro* Jota*

Theoretically my starting XI looks ok this week, but with KDB doubts, and Lamptey (and possibly Maguire?) rotation risk, I need to do something to up the numbers.

A - Jota -> Hwang (will do this in the unlikely event Pep rules out KDB for sure) - bench Solanke
    B - Porro -> Saliba (bench Lamptey)
    C - both (-4)

I am leaning between Gordon and Luis Diaz.
Diaz has served me well for the DGW, but I am not excited by him as an option once Salah is fully back.
On the other hand Gordon has been reliable, but Newcastle's form is not to compare with the Liverpool one.

Arsenal don't have a lot of good away days left. They don't keep clean sheets at home. Narrative on Arsenal defence will be completely different soon. Was planning to WC in 31/32 after FH29. But I just made this template that's made me consider the WC now.

    Areola - Dub
    Estupinan - Pau - Reguilon - Branthwaite - Baldock
    Salah - Son - Palmer - Neto - Saka
    Watkins - Solanke - Haaland

Currently I don't have Solanke, Salah, Son or Palmer. WCing now would allow me to have them all for Spurs' good run of fixtures and Solanke's double. Without WC now I'd have to probably go with one or two of Solanke, Salah, Son until GW31/32.

Thoughts? Feels early for a wildcard to me, would rather play it late to set up well for the run-in and any potential DGWs. But I really want Son, Salah in ASAP and that Solanke double is enticing. And would my WC team in 32 look much different to this anyway?

Fixture is very tempting. Wolves are too up and down for me though, never know when they're going to turn up

Would be interesting to see Wolves’ win rate with a fit Neto and Hwang

That was basically their first 10 games of the season - W3 D3 L4. Although they've come on as a team quite a lot since then.

Jota to Saka or anything more inspiring as I’m playing catch up having missed Saka’s points.

Looks like I get at least one extra game out of Kelleher in GW27.

Let's see if it's worth it... Down 1 point on the Dubravka > Kelleher -4 so far.

Slightly kicking myself for not taking that hit last GW. Should have known recurrence of hammy wouldn't have a quick turnaround
