I wouldn't feel too comfortable getting rid of both haaland & foden in GW28
Maybe just foden > Bowen with FT in GW28 & take a hit to field 10 in GW29

Thinking about those 2 transfers and even rage selling Trippier for Senesi. Season basically lost gw25, so I can gamble a little more than normally.

Too much money in midfield. Need to downgrade KDB or Son to get better defence & upgrade injured 4.3 archer to an in-form starter Muniz

dont think you can justify kdb over foden with that defence tbh. more minutes foden, could easily match kdb from now until season end

Having said that, Liverpool have asked Egypt not to be called up so he might not even be fit for City.

You'd need a better bench. Even Muniz over Archer is better.

But better than the 7 or so players I’d be able to muster with several hits.
The nice thing about FH29 is that there aren’t many players playing who can hurt you, like there will be SGW players in GW34 who beat the doublers brought in purely cos they double.

putting solanke in now if you dont want long term causes issues when watkins/saka/salah need to come in soon, plus trippier might need selling to fund those 3. idk if you have WC available and plans in which case solanke can make more sense

Looks very nice and well thought out. Rarely do such detailed plans work out as first mapped out (injuries etc) but with a bit of luck this could be great. Different approach to mine but I like it.

we have done essentially the same thing (i held palmer vs you held gabs). i think i'm going to go solanke -> Muniz (as opposed to Toney) as I want enough to cover kdb or trent depending on injuries/form etc

This is the conundrum I'm on at the moment, as I'm going to be on 9 with a -8, which doesn't feel great, but I feel you could get away with 7/8 if it turns into a low scoring week

What does your GW29 team look like if you were to get Solanke but not FH? Just no Morris? One key thing to remember is Luton have Spurs in GW30 and Arsenal in GW31 so Morris may be the more short term option. In contrast, Solanke has Everton and Palace those weeks, both at home. I'd say Solanke is going to outscore Morris by at least 4 points between now and end of GW31, so I lean B or no FH but get Solanke.

You're in a tricky spot cause you have quite a few players that play in GW29 but not enough that I think you can realistically leave it. I think you can either FH29 (I'm assuming you have it) or just play less players in 29, depending on your next transfers. Going through your options:

1. I wouldn't do a -4 for Maddison, but Trips to a Bournemouth defender is fine. If you do that, it's FH29 cause I think it leaves you with 6 players in 29 even with Maddison.

2. This is my favourite of your options. Son is a great asset and this gives you two new assets to play in 29. This way you could play 7 players by my guess - Areola, Porro, Doughty, Reguillon, Kabore (not nailed but may start one), Son, Watkins. Could get away with this and save the FH and WC for later.

3. You can easily roll but I favour getting a Bournemouth player to get a doubler. If you kept Trips I'd play him over Kabore who isn't nailed.

4. I don't like this option at all cause you're trading a GK that plays in 29 (Areola) for a -4; bear in mind Neto doesn't play in 29 so they both have 2 fixtures over two gameweeks.

5. Definitely don't wildcard, simply cause your team is absolutely fine. You will get much better value out of it later for one of the double GWs. You'd be better playing 7 players in GW29 in my opinion.

I absolutely wouldn't WC, your team is good. Much better to save it for before one of the doubles in 34 or 37, far more value. I'd just consider KDB to Son this week. To explain why no WC, you have a full team, no fires to put out. GWs 30 and 31 look good for this squad as well, I wouln't change much for those GWs.
