I’ve also considered that. I’m chasing in my ML and prepared to take risks. Although De Bruyne captain backfired last week…

If you're chasing (as you have said you aware) then for sure this is a sure fire way to either catch up or fall behind - maybe even quite significantly. Rather than looking at who to go without, perhaps its safer to try and make up ground by looking at what differentials to bring in? I'd suggest bringing those differentials in for an option less exposing than Salah - considering most will throw the armband on him too

        Yes I think I agree.
For instance, I freehitted last week, brought in players that did really well.
Cunha, Schar, Gordon, Isak, Bruno, Eze
        BUT I didn't have Palmer.
So all that good work was undone
Swap Gordon for Salah in this tale, in the scenario above.

Exactly - you might make the same mistake twice.

What I can probably tell you, at least based on my experience, whichever one you pick won't score and whichever one you don't will!!!

For a hit I'd say just no - as TAA may have minutes managed.

Bradley out for a hit maybe still worth it - to another choice with more xMP

Is a keeper transfer worth a hit? Currently on Kelleher / Areola

    1. donbagino

      Considering dgw34 I think it's worth. 2 games vs 0 games

    2. 112kane112
      • 6 Years

I think this week is the only week to "get away" with a hit for a keeper.

Replace Kelleher with someone who rotates well with Areola for the rest of the season - who you'd maybe only want to start in GW37.

Henderson therefore the better selection than Pickford therefore.

Do you think Haverts minutes are quite save?

    1. 112kane112
      • 6 Years

I say no. It's unusual he has played so much over the recent period of time. Still in form but dipped a little. That being said if you are not at all excited by a 3rd Arsenal player, then Havertz is better than only have 2 Arsenal.

Arsenal only have the league to go for, would surprise me if all of a sudden Havertz started to have his minutes managed.

I’ve thought about it myself but already have Olise. Probably would have transferred him in otherwise. If Sheffield United would’ve built the team around him, they may have stayed up. Wilder has realised he makes them tick, prob too little too late. I say this as a Cov fan though, so may be bias/informed (take your pick!)

Leno with a terrible fixture, Areola potentially injured.

Anyone on a FH going without Solanke? His fixtures aren't great and he seems to have gone off the boil since his injury was reported. I reckon Mateta and Cunha with 2 home fixtures each will both outscore him.

    1. tommo-uk-

Solanke has a good record of returning against teams that you feel he wont.

Both Mateta & Cunha could outscore him, but they also may not.

Not sure the hype on Mateta, his numbers across all seasons are junk and can get hooked for Edouard.
Solanke is nailed, on pens and his record speaks for itself. Not to mention two games against a tired Villa from extra time last night and then wolves. Both easily winnable.

I agree with this. It is exactly what you call it - hype.

For sure he can get a goal and is lively, but you'd be mad to pick him over Solanke etc other than as a complete punt, not a calculated decision.

Looking forward to us both eating our words and humble pie after the weekend.

I'd say not worth it. I don't think it will repay itself before the end of the season. Newcastle have equally good fixtures to Palace for the rest of the season and both are similarly performing defensively. Newcastle double in GW37 which cancels out the CPL double GW34.

          I'd still say no.

If WC35 then the decision is more clear:

Dubravka (cry) vs. Henderson (WHU, NEW)

Maybe Henderson outscores, you'd think so with x2 home fixtures, but the likelihood he significantly outscores (4+) Dubravka is higher odds than he doesn't outscore him or only just outscores him (

      Close one.

If Palmer gets a couple of attacking returns and bonus points, both Mateta & Cunha will have to be consistent in both games to make up the -4.

Hahaha! Of course. Then back to the original statement - Yes Muniz > Mateta or Cunha (-4) is worth it when using WC35. Personal preference between the 2, I like prefer Mateta but I have gone with Cunha myself out of safety.

GW35, would you rather use a transfer on a dgw defender, or on an attacking mid at home to Sheffield United?

    a) Branthwaite > Gusto
    b) Foden > Gordon

    1. 112kane112
      • 6 Years
      8 months, 6 days ago

If Gusto is still starting you're getting 4 fixtures in place for 2, so I'd say A.

I would not be losing Foden for anyone for the run in. Although I'd consider a -4 to get Gordon in GW35 for sure, if you can find someone less essential than Foden to drop.

      1. Sheffield Wednesday
        • 4 Years

I'll still get Gusto or similar before DGW37 if not GW35.

Midfield currently is Salah Saka Foden Palmer B.Ferenandes.

I think I meant to write b) Saka > Gordon
but it's beer o'clock on a Friday evening so mistakes will be made 😉

United fan here. ETH has said it's dealt with. In previous examples on this kind of topic, he is crystal clear and sticks to his word. I take him saying it is dealt with as that there is no issue and it's finished. What we don't know is if behind the scenes "it's dealt with" means that Garnacho has accepted a punishment of being on the bench for example.

          I am confident he starts.

All depends on Garnacho, social media stuff might make Ten Hag think twice about starting him.

If he starts then you have to play him against Sheff U.

      Bench Palmer otherwise.

The niggle for Haaland and the disciplinary for Garnacho makes this really difficult. The form of Palmer is challenging too. I think Haaland stays fit and gets played, sub was a rest and precaution IMO. Garnacho is dealt with, so he plays IMO. Palmer fixture is too tough to support... A.

True. I have Zinchenko since ages ago. Unsure whether to bring in White, Havertz or Diaz from Liverpool

Villa may ring changes so play it safe with Palmer.

Hard one - Bailey played 120 yesterday.. I'd say Cole

I like B, but I don't think it is worth a hit, maybe only if you're really chasing rather than leading.

    Salah Saka Eze Palmer
    Solanke Haaland

Who to get in for my last attacker for DGW34?

For me it is A all day. Diaz has looked so strong lately, I can see him getting at least 10+ over 2GW.

Only worry is that Liverpool have looked really poor and toothless in these past few weeks. Otherwise he'd be a lock

I think from an outside perspective (Man U fan here), I don't think you've not been toothless - I'd say just wasteful. I did not watch the Atalanta games admittedly. The final 3rd build up is still good, but maybe the final pass or finish, or the penultimate pass has just been a little off.

I back a strong recovery for Liverpool, especially with Arsenal slipping up.

    Alisson
    White Gabriel TAA
    Salah Saka Eze Olise Bruno
    Cunha Solanke

    Sa Mitchell Mcburnie Dalot

    Thoughts on this HT team?

      Very high upside.

Probably the maximum amount of risk I'd like: White, Olise, Cunha and TAA could have minutes managed. Bruno you never know what you're going to get (as with Man U generally).

I'd consider swapping one of the risks above for a bit more of a banker. (for example TAA to Virgil or Olise/Bruno to Luis Diaz)

G2G on a bench boost? Want Eze but struggling to given will need to be foden out. 0 point hits this far!

    Neto, Pickford
    TAA, Virgil, Gab, White, Alt
    Salah, Garnacho, Saka, Palmer, Foden
    Solanke, Cigna, Watkins

      Outstanding planning.

I'd consider Palmer to Eze to really uplift explosion capability! Eze could easily outscore your entire bench and ruin the effect of BB.

      Who is Cigna? Cunha?

Just to clarify, guys, Klopp got straight up after last night's presser. There's no embargoed preview tacked on. It should be a fresh presser today.

Reporter: "Hi David Moyes. Could we please have some team news?"

Moyes: "I haven't seen the players. We've scheduled this press conference at 9.30am so I don't have to give you any team news."

Morning all. Anything you would change on this FH?

    Pickford
    TAA Gabriel Munoz
Saka Luis Diaz Salah Havertz Eze
    Solanke Cunha

    White over Gabriel?
    Mateta over Solanke?

      Looks great.
Saw Mitchell’s heat map in the article and made me sway to him over Munoz.
Solanke better pick I hope (given villas 120mins + pens last night)
White over Gabriel for the attacking potential.

Latest FH after much tinkering. Think I’m fairly settled other than Captain choice.
Enough differential punts here to prob go boring Salah cap.

    Neto / Pickford
TAA RAN Mitchell / White Senesi
    Salah Saka Havertz Eze Olise
    Solanke Cunha / Watkins

    Thoughts?

Assuming WC in 35, which is the best play for GW34?

    A. Gvardiol -> Robertson -4
    B. Gvardiol -> VVD -4
    C. Gvardiol

Feels like minutes are major pot luck for all 3 of them, no?

Robbo possibly more upside. Punt on Trent is the go if you don’t already have him.
