      As much as we want football to be sacred, there is a very real issue here. A substantial amount of Saudi money comes to the uk every year. If we use capitalistic growth economy ideas we need to be importing revenue from outside the uk and we are limited on what to sell outside of ideas and skills these days. Saudi is a big external market for us.

      Alternatively we could reopen the mines and sell coal

      I don't think so. Looking at his qualifying record, and if he's still nailed & on pens, then it seems a good question why he's not more popular than Lukaku. In more intense pressing teams, age & willingness evidently a hindrance, but if he's just strolling around as a focal point for all that creativity Portugal have....

        Personally I wouldnt start any of Foden Palmer or Madison which is crap for all three as they are great players. Just wrong position at the wrong time
