I am a great team player, as long as we do it mine way! Huzzah! ‘Assistant’ is corporate speak for ‘Squire’, tis a squire they’re seeking! A squire knowledgeable in the ways of electrickery! Unfortunately I am overqualified for the position.

Shame you feel you're over qualified - I would have loved to read your responses to emails received - by engaging with the community you could have shared them on here.

Yeah, your skills would be wasted on such a lowly position.

Chief Moderator of Nudists is the job you're really waiting for.

"Engage with the community on site".

How is this not a standard requirement for all FFS staff? Such a basic objective and so easy to achieve.

When I read that I had exactly the same thought. Never understood why more of the FFS staff don't engage more.

I genuinely think the attitude of the current FFS staff is that engaging with the community is a chore and beneath them.

Could it be they're happy letting the lunatics run the ̶a̶s̶y̶l̶u̶m̶ forums, and there's at least one serial-complaint member that most would want to avoid.

One or two difficult people shouldn't distract from the majority. By engaging more with the community surely they'd get more interaction and then long-term more members.

Anyone had a go of making a Bet365 team? Feel like the prices are mental.

Mental as in how? Seems pretty well balanced to me.
I have a core of about 7 players I would have in every team, and then would play about with the other slots for multi teams. WC in round 3 for all teams, for better or worse, mainly because 4 FT in each knockout round seems generous.

Defender and keeper prices just seem to be team-based rather than player-based. Play for England, Spain, Germany, Portugal, etc? 6m - doesn't matter whether you're a fullback or not. Everyone's priced as if they're guaranteed to play, which is just a bit weird too.

I much prefer that approach tbh, where everyone is priced as if they are playing, as to all intents and purposes we are only going to pick starting players anyway. And there is some variation, i.e. TAA 6.5, Maguire 6.0 and Gomez 5.5.

If they price a defender for a top team at 4.5 and then an injury occurs or the friendlies indicate that they are going to be a starter, everyone has that player, everyone has the same team, and the game gets boring, quick.

Towards the end of this season, you could get Man City's starting goalie, and Liverpool's starting goalie, for 7.5m in FPL. That's how much of a mess it can become if you base player prices so heavily on likelihood of starting.

Think I just need to put more time into it, think I've been spoilt by FPL's proper lax pricing. Just means there's no point picking certain CBs for example - no one's gonna pick Stones over Shaw or Maguire for example.

Yes! its the same as fan team I think. Pedri at 5.5 if he starts could be great value but it is annoying how expensive some players are but hopefully it means us who know are stuff can do well get in that top 10% and get some cash prizes.

Then everyone would know how much the squire is being paid! I never reveal how much mine squires are paid, because that might drive the price of turnips up!
