TopMarx Fan of Fantasy Football and Monty Python. "Archimedes out to Socrates, Socrates back to Archimedes, Archimedes out to Heraclitus, he beats Hegel. Heraclitus a little flick, here he comes on the far post, Socrates is there, Socrates heads it in! Socrates has scored! The Greeks are going mad, the Greeks are going mad! Socrates scores, got a beautiful cross from Archimedes. The Germans are disputing it. Hegel is arguing that the reality is merely an a priori adjunct of non-naturalistic ethics, Kant via the categorical imperative is holding that ontologically it exists only in the imagination, and Marx is claiming it was offside. Did the MOTD challenge thingy yesterday.

Watching Salah set up Jota before scoring then Saka/Havertz reciprocate was very nice.

      Might try it more often.

Was Watkins subbed off injured yesterday or without wanting to sound like something out of Harry potter, minutes managed?

      Thanks.

Mins managed. He was poor, lack of preseason showed. Tbf Bowen was also not great.

Managed minutes, was never going to do 90. TBH as a Villain I was surprised he was named to start.

Stuck here. Got Quansah but two defenders on bench are Davis & Greaves for Ipswich, ready for GW3 onwards.
      What would you do?

      A) Keep Quansah & hope he starts GW2. If not, accept Davis will have to start vs Man City

      b) Sell Quansah for a different 4.5m defender for GW2, e.g Robinson / Konsa.

      Repost bottomed-

Good morning all!! Jacob Murphy was a little one week fun pick to me!! Will never know how it would have turned out now after the Schar red card and immediate substitution!!….. initial plan was Murphy to ESR this week but considering Bereton Diaz, should I stick with my initial plan??!! Or go for B.Diaz???

      Thoughts welcomed!!

      Cheers everyone!!!

Among those three, I'd much rather give Murphy one more GW

        Or even three/four more

He could be involved in a multi-FT move to shake up your squad later, via going up to 6.5+ or down to 4.5

Should be a starter for Newcastle until then, at least

Thankyou mate!!! Sounds advice!! Never really considered it coz I was so set on my plan but now I’m considering it it makes more sense to keep him and save a transfer!! Will be more helpful moving forward!! Cheers mate i will just stick with him I think

Part of me want to say to keep him but if it was really your plan to switch to ESR than just stick to it. I don't get all the love for ESR and couple other 5.5s but he might be the best among them all, time will tell, he played almost no minutes last 2 years.

Cheers mate. It’s a trick one and with ESR getting subbed on 63 mins makes me wonder now if I should go through with my plan, initial plan was to WC in gameweek 4 but I might bring it forward to gameweek 3 now transfer deadline is on the Friday before deadline on Saturday so will have the information about who’s gone where and it would mean getting the players and team I want a cheaper prices so if I roll transfer this week it means I can come out of a gameweek 3 WC with 2 frees stored already so will put me in a good position going forward

Good luck with whatever you decide to do, both things have some merits, my general advice is to follow your gut and stick to the plan. I don't think we should overreact after only 7 games being played this season.

Talk me out of doing Salah and Jota > Palmer + Foden pls 😛 Wanna jump on them before they explode again and become "essential". Just a feeling.

I think there is a good chance that Salah and Jota outscore them in GW2

Which one is more urgent? Replacing Quansah or Barco? They’re both on my bench this week.

Slot’s comments weren’t great post match though. Konate will get the nod now surely? Do we know why Barco didn’t play?
