Is it worth taking a -4 this week to bring in Salah and captain? Would likely be Saka+Isak to Salah+Delap. Wouldn't need to play Delap but might consider at Southampton, will then wildcard in 6.

If Saka or Isak are ruled out then maybe, but I wouldn't do it if both likely to play. Salah is a really good bet this week, but looking longer term I think you want to keep Saka.

Saka would be back in on wildcard in 6 so its 1 week punt really, otherwise its (C) on the robot and I am not convinced he can do it another week...

I get mixed messages on this, but what is true?
I currently have 3 FTs and planning to wildcard in 6. This gw 5 I’m planning to use 2 FTs: how many will I have in gw7?
Will it be 1 or 2?

          gw7 1 f/t +1 already banked ,so =2

Yeah fair but Emery's comment for early Watkins sub is he can be subbed as any other player can. Obviously he should ideally start but it's not like 100%, more like 95% barring injuries.

    Henderson
    TAA Porro Konsa
    Salah Eze Mitoma ESR
    Haaland Isak Muniz*

    4.0; Robinson, Winks, Barco*

    Going to wildcard in gw6.
    A. Muniz -> Vardy/DCL/Delap (1ft after wildcard)
    or

    2 FT, 0 ITB

    Sanchez
    TAA - *Lewis* - Konsa
    Sala(h) - Eze - *Jota* - ESR - Rogers
    *Isak* - Haaland

    4.0 | Robinson - Faes - *Muniz*

I've asterisked problem players, that I'm not so hot on. Currently considering Muniz & Isak to Delap & Watkins. Or maybe Lewis to Porro with Isak down to a Solanke? I could go cheaper than Solanke (DCL, Vardy etc) with the funds held for Gabriel/Raya in GW6. Any suggestions, anything I'm missing? TIA

    1. Bucket Man
      • 6 Years
      3 months, 15 days ago

I think Hirst is back for Ipswich so could share minutes with Delap. You could even roll the transfer with Muniz on the bench but he needs to go soon. I think Lewis to an Arsenal defender next week plus Isak out then and maybe Jota with his rotation risk.

Is the best move here with 3ft to do: Isak, Pedro and Gordon to Watkins, Vardy(or Mateta) and Rogers?

    Henderson
    Gabriel / Lewis / Porro
    Salah / Jota / Gordon / Minteh
    Haaland / Isak / Pedro

    Valdimarsson / ESR / Faes / Johnson

    1. Bucket Man
      • 6 Years

If Pedro is fit I'd keep him this week. I also think Gordon is a better pick then Rogers. If everyone is fit I'd roll again and look to remove double Newcastle next week plus Jota who probably becomes a rotation risk.

Great forwards & back 3 and keepers. Midfield lacks a '10', try to squeeze Saka in, it's doable. Oh, and get better 4m defenders, Greaves & Mosquera.

Thanks. Yes they are good picks too. Wood has form but a difficult fixture this week. With Delap, Hirst is back and McKenna like early substitutions which slightly puts me off him. Have now seen Isak is a doubt which may be playing Harwood Bellis or Wildcarding a week early which would probably mean selling Salah and loading up on Arsenal so not too keen on that.

Glasner is keen to give him minutes along with Mateta and EZE so they can gel.

“Eddie showed it against Leicester: he had very good finishes, was a little bit unlucky. Today, he scored. He had a great chance as well in the first half where I think one defender cleared it on the line. He showed what he also showed in training. He got a little bit tired, which is normal because he played the first 90 minutes for a long time three days before.

“But we wanted to have the same attacking three, with Eze, Mateta and Nketiah, to get each other known, because this week we can’t train. It’s just recovery, and then we have to use the game time, the minutes to get each other known.

“JP scored two against Leicester. Eddie scored the first one [tonight]. Ebs scored the second today, so all offensive players scored goals, and this is important for their confidence.” – Oliver Glasner

Interesting to see if LateRiser goes his own way or follows Zoph on the wildcard. The problem following someone else is when they are having a bad season you have to at some point abort and you are left with a total mess

      Surely a lesson learnt?

Well the WC is part analytical and part emotional- there is no perfect time to play it ( unless you cant put out 11 player with transfers)

Ha ha well I don't even watch their show so not THAT interesting but there is a lot of copying going off from these big accounts. I was surprised by LR when people on X were talking about it. He usually does the opposite of everyone

      Please choose:

Saliba - Luis Dias - Watkins (I have Gabriel too)
      Or
Konate - Salah - Stewart (only for bench)

      Thank you!

        João Pedro update:

“Yeah so… he made a training session today and we shouldn’t, we don’t want to go any risk for today, and let’s see how the next days will be.”

It would be typical that Palace finally has a good match, vs MU of all fixtures so far.

Foolish to go Havertz over Saka from gw6?

Not on a WC, I could get to either. The 2m saving by going Havertz is currently my favoured option and means I can solve my Wissa problem in 1 move

I'm tempted to go with both for the nice 3 fixtures.

      2 Free Transfers..... No Salah.

Do I upgrade Saka to Salah for 1 week and then wildcard out.....

Or Captain Haaland, save wildcard and hide behind the sofa
