I wonder what moves Meerlight, the Hall of Shame’s pro-pundit, will make this week?

Been a interesting year so far as it is.
Every time the "How did the good and the great managers do" article comes out I wonder has something changed as they are collectively mediocre.
And the herd-mind is strong with them. Moves are highly similar and close to "template"
How are they supposed to move up in rank making the same moves as everyone else??

Ugh McNeil and Palmer yellow flagged for me.

I have 2 freebies this week and I was planning to go Van De Berg to Mazraoui and bench Rogers but now I have other issues.

Is Semenyo in for McNeil worth doing even with the 4 yellow cards?

      It’s a consideration, yes.
I wouldn’t call it a punt though. Isak probably a good long term pick that a lot will be turning to soon.
Forest away isn’t the best entrance point but having early could work.

Really cheap in the midfield, but that's what you get if you want Trent, Salah and Haaland. Interesting team.

Have slowly churned cash out of defense and invested more in midfield in last few weeks. Haaland and Trent will be downgraded in upcoming weeks as well, pretty much messed up the WC by going with a premium defense of four 6m+ defenders.

The thing with Spurs is you don't know if a single player will get a massive score and if he does which one that will be. Son, Johnson, Solanke, even Maddison or Kulusevski have a chance. Add to that how unreliable they are as a team and it isn't unreasonable to stay away from them.

Sometimes. Just as Palmer is sometimes. If individual Spurs players were as reliable as Palmer, they would cost 10m+. The one who does (Son) has not provided good value for the 10m so far this season, due to fitness, positioning, and the inconsistency of the team performances.

Everyone expects Amorim to use the 3-4-3 formation, what if he doesn't?
Brighton brought a 3-4-3 manager and he hasn't played 3-4-3 yet, although he has a squad better suited to play that formation. Or, at least he wouldn't have to leave out one of the top players if he did.

        Hürzeler formation at St. Pauli:

I'm thinking about Diallo after yesterday. He's suited both to the 3-4-3 and the present 4-2-3-1, has one competitor less now (Antony must have lost his spot with Ten Hag out), and yesterday's brace could give him at least another start this weekend against a weak opponent

Good morning fellas, hope everyone is having a nice week.

In a bit of a weird position so far... the team hasn't been performing great the last couple of weeks but I quite like the look of the squad (apart from not having Salah). Although, I might be in denial and just doubling down on my picks. What do you guys think?

        Flekken
        TAA Gvardiol Gabriel
        Son (C) Foden Mbeumo Semenyo
        Haaland Wood DCL

        Valdi Rogers Myko Greaves

Would like Salah ideally but don’t fancy moving either of Haaland/Foden/Son just yet.

        2 FT
        0.3 ITB

        Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

        Thanks!

You've gone really big on defense, which hasn't paid off. Downgrading one of Trent or Gvardiol could be a useful move to upgrade another position, but I wouldn't do it right now. Your attackers look fine except DCL, but I would give him the West Ham game, which on paper is a great fixture. It would be nice to have 3 free transfers during the international break, allowing for maximum flexibility. The only thing I would change right now is move the captain's armband to Haaland. Son's minutes are too much of a headache in my opinion, but of course Ipwsich are such a mess defensively that 60 minutes could be more than enough - though it has to be noted that their left flank is their weakest due to L. Davis' extremely aggressive positioning, so maybe it will be Johnson and not Son who will benefit the most.

Cheers mate! Basically all my thoughts as well, wary of Son's minutes too. Although I'd say 45 mins yesterday is a decent sign (match fitness building) BUT if Spurs are winning comfortably at 60th min I can see him getting subbed again (so if Spurs score big Son might actually suffer).

Hesitant to cap Haaland after the blanks tho and I have capped him for the last 5 weeks or so straight
