After Palace and Newcastle shared the spoils at Selhurst Park, we now make our way to Anfield as Liverpool entertain Spurs at 4.30pm.
Fantasy Premier League (FPL) interest is substantial for Sunday’s late encounter, with Golden Boot rivals Harry Kane (17.3%) and Mohamed Salah (13.1%) among the top three captain picks for Gameweek 26.
Kane – who rolls up to Merseyside on the back of nine goals in his last six league starts – has already plundered 16 FPL points against Jurgen Klopp’s troops in a 4-1 home win back in Gameweek 9.
He was handed the armband by 12 of the top 100 FPL managers ahead of yesterday’s deadline, with 19 of those opting for Salah instead.
The Egyptian remains the most consistent source of points in FPL, with a goal or assist in 14 of his last 16 league appearances.
Ominously for Mauricio Pochettino’s team, Salah has delivered double-digits in each of his last two at Anfield as the Reds look to avenge their Wembley mauling.
Meanwhile, Roberto Firmino is the seventh top armband pick for this round of fixtures, though just 3.2% of managers have backed the Brazilian, who has served up six goals and three assists in his last seven starts.
Like Salah, both Dele Alli and Son Heung-Min were also among the goals in that previous head-to-head and will fancy their chances against a defence that shipped three goals to Man City in their last home match.
