Fantasy Football Scout is pleased to announce two new Fantasy Premier League cup competitions.
First of all, we roll out the twelfth instalment of our open-to-all cup competition. This is your chance to join our previous winners – donnellyc, Jonty, Gribude, Goonerdave, Ninja_Fit_Saints, sleeping master, Mch, Wild Rover, Tdubb05 , CMIFLFC and our reigning champion Mark (no, really) in on our Cup hall of fame.
We’ve also opened entry for the sixth instalment of the Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup, as Waltzingmatildas looks to defend their title. Fuzzy Dunlop, Kippax Kickers , Acquafresca and Trigg were our other previous winners of this tournament.
If you’re familiar with our competitions you can get your entries in right now via the links below. If you’re new to all this, read on for an FAQ on the competitions.
Enter the Fantasy Football Scout Cup XII via the entry form here.
Members can also enter the Fantasy Football Scout Members Cup VI via this entry form.
How do the cup competitions work?
Our cup competitions are very similar to the Fantasy Premier League’s Fantasy Cup game. Entrants who qualify for the first round will be randomly drawn against each other and the winner of the tie is whoever has the highest score from that Gameweek, minus points spent on transfers (like in the original game and in head-to-head scores). In the event of a tie, the manager highest in the overall standings will progress.
When do they start?
The qualifying rounds for both cups will take place in Gameweek 22, with the first rounds running on Gameweek 23.
Fantasy managers can enter their teams from now right up to Tuesday January 19, when we’ll stop entry and will be drawing the first round ties from the qualifiers.
There will be 512 qualifiers for the Members Cup and 1024 for the Fantasy Football Scout Cup – depending on the number of entries. All our previous winners who enter will gain a bye into the first round draw where they will join the top scorers from Gameweek 22.
FPL standing will decide who progresses in the event of tied positions. The same rules apply in the Members Cup

Do I have to enter if I’m previous winner?
Yes, because your FPL team ID will have changed, we will need to record your entry again. As a previous winner, you will be given a bye to the first round proper.
Do I need to be registered with Fantasy Football Scout?
We ask you to supply a FFScout username so we can feature you, as a member of our community, in any articles associated with the tournament. Ideally, you will already have a username with us but this is not essential to enter (although it is for the Members Cup) – you must, however, supply a username for the purpose of the tournament so you can be identified in articles. You must not change this username throughout the course of the tournament, should you do so without permission, or should you enter multiple teams or if your FFS account comes under moderation for any reason, we reserve the right to remove you from a tournament.
