New Season Memberships – Euro 16 Stats Added

Fantasy Football Scout memberships for 2016/17 are now available for the pre-season price of just £12.50 and, as a bonus, they come packaged with additional Euro 16 statistics.

Last season’s memberships expired on Wednesday June 1 but you can now renew to get access to the members area.

Existing registered users can upgrade via this link. New users, who are yet to register an account, can sign up via this link.

Payments can be made through Paypal or via Stripe using debit or credit cards.

While our Members league couldn’t quite claim a third consecutive FPL champion, we were thrilled to see Ed Masters – the winner of this season’s Members League – finish third in the overall rankings. Ed recently cited the Members area as a factor in his superb season and we hope we can help him and other Fantasy managers to successful campaigns in 2016/17.

As an added and timely bonus this season, we’re delighted to announce that, as of today, our members will have access to a wealth of statistics to help steer their Euro 16 Fantasy selections as part of the membership package.

We’ve secured Opta data, not only for the tournament itself, which begins on June 10, but also from the Qualifying Rounds and also more than 12 months of international friendlies involving the participating nations. This includes all the recent friendly matches and all those played right up to the tournament kick-off.

As far as we know, this data cannot be found collated in this form anywhere else on the net, giving our members a potential advantage when it comes to their Euro 16 Fantasy selections.

Members can switch between competitions to mine the data using an array of tables which break down a huge variety of statistics by position. Our comparison tools for players and teams can also be used to make head-to-head comparisons – a vital tool when it comes to decision making.

Filters can be applied to take into account only the last two, four and six matches played by a team or player and the match dashboard offers individual analysis of each match, together with charts which plot average positions of players and match events like shots on goal and chances created.

Members can also get started creating their own custom tables based on the data and sharing them for public use via comments on the site.

We will be producing a preview movie highlighting what is available very soon.

We’ve still a few rough edges to iron out with some presentation elements – namely missing squad numbers and profile pics – but we wanted to get this out to you now in order to give you as much time as possible to utilise the data and use it to shape your Euro 16 Fantasy thinking.

Just to stress, this Euro 16 offering comes packaged with the regular Fantasy Football Scout membership. If you sign up today you will get access to the Euro 16 statistics and all the usual Premier League statistics and tools for the 2016/17 campaign once that gets underway.

This starts with access to our members season ticker tool on or around June 15 with the announcement of the Premier League fixtures, with our Rate My Team tool and Player Projections to follow once the Fantasy Premier League player list is confirmed.

Membership will increase to £15.00 on conclusion of the first weekend of the Premier League season.

Be sure to check out all the other benefits of signing up as a member here. A full FAQ on our Members area is also available here.

We are hugely grateful to those who show their support by signing up as a member each season. This continues to enable us to maintain the site, grow the FFS team and develop further.

In the last few months we were able to roll out a new look for the site and, once we’ve completed the improvements to the Members Area Euro data, we will be going live with a number of changes to the redesign. This includes re-establishing a full desktop view for mobile and tablet users and improving access for users on those platforms – as well as a number of tweaks to the desktop version following your recent feedback.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

I personally wouldn't go with Randolph (Kozacik or Patricio) and although Ramos is nailed on is a card magnet. Like the Schar and Eliseu picks though.

David Alaba: The Filippino superstar. A great footballer but maybe a better pick if he was listed as a defender. 3/4 of his qualifier goals were pens in a team built on defensive strength. Would be a better bet for me if there's a guarantee he'll play an attacking role. Penalties, freekicks, goals, assist, great option for attacking mid/winger.From full back to centre back to centre mid are his other possibilities apparently, horrible word. Any Austrians on ?

That's why I'm asking. He's a good attacking option but there's a good chance he'll be used primarily in some defensive role.

As I've just tweeted, the worst bit of this Koeman saga is that Saints will be accused of a lack of 'ambition' - but this is clearly a euphemism for money. We've got ambition but we want to deliver on that in the right way, not by throwing money around.

Hector vs Juanfran - battle of the 5.5s

    Hector:
Opponents - Northern Ireland, Poland, Ukraine

    Juanfran:
Opponents - Croatia, Czech Republic, Turkey

Spain have shown better defense in recent history with Germany looking a little shaky at the back. However Germany's opposition look a little bit easier

    Thoughts?

I love how you manipulate the fixtures in your favour.

Germany has been experimenting a lot in defence. Löw has used both friendlies and qualifiers to break a lot of new folk in, but i'd be surprised if he wasted the final tournament for that as well. He'll settle for something that works. It's beyond me what exactly it will be, but my money would be on it being some 4-man defence line, since that 3-man defence has looked awkward.

            Guaranteed? Hummels and Boateng.

Hector and Rüdiger have started the most matches recently, the least rotated two. But seen that both Hummels and Boateng have been rotated a lot, I'm not fully convinced this means Rüdiger and Hector would be nailed on in the final tournament, because Boateng and Hummels definitely are. He's clearly been breaking those two young men in on the international stage, and the question will be for him can he trust them already, or does he have to still revert to the old guard and to what extent. In Rüdiger's case, I think it's clear: Boateng and Hummels are about to be in their peak age, and will start. But so is Höwedes, just a couple of years older than Hector, and I think he should take Hector's place on left, as the latter doesn't seem defensively reliable enough, but that may also just be me advising Löw rather than guessing his thoughts.

But don't take my word as gospel. I'm personally very frustrated with predicting that Germany lineup. They have such a plethora of options and seem to be going through them all. But the Bundesliga players train so much together in the NT, as they have much more free time from the clubs than players of other nations, that they really have time to try a bit everything and still be able to revert to a core XI. Personally, I'm more interested in their attack.

Essentially, I wanted just to say that Germany defence will probably not be that leaky in the tournament. However, it's true they were leaky all the qualifiers, and generally have for long while now relied very much on Neuer's class. But that's something you usually can rely on.

...and that if you look back at the serious matches, Hummels and Boateng _always_ start. So they will both 100% play is fit. Of course, they may not be fully fit.

Thanks, I missed that completely. I didn't have time to read any newspapers yesterday. Now that you say it, it is easy to find. So, out possibly or even probably for both two first matches. That changes a lot fantasy football wise, since most will use their wildcard after first or second match.

Rüdiger or Höwedes to replace? I know I would go with Höwedes, but since he has hardly played for Germany recently... he's been injured a lot too, but even when fit, he does not feature in the starting lineup. Rüdiger has played a lot, but personally I wouldn't be confident with him in the 4-man backline.

Howedes played on left hand side but only because Low did;t have any choice, he even won World Cup playing there but time has changed, Howedes is right footed and Low wants left footed defender on the left. That is why Hector is under no threat.

Well it's not as if Hector was the only German LB on planet, nor that Löw had no choice but to play Höwedes on left before Hector surged (at quite late age). He could have selected Jansen or Schmeltzer, or play Durm or Lahm on left, if he didn't want Höwedes. And he has constantly performed wonderfully well for Germany, bringing much of that defensive security that the others fail to provide.

Untill last Wednesday it was true, but shockingly Szczesny started against Holland (most important test before EURO) and after last game against Lithuania on Monday coach decides.

Looks like Szczesny now has a small advantage. Nevertheless I wouldn't buy any of them Poland has really bad defence, CS potential low, Krychowiak has still hamstring problems and we don't have left defender.

in other words : avoid polish defense.

Having 2 swiss defenders (sommer & rodriguez) not a great idea. Have a look at other 6M defenders - Boateng, Evra, Koscielny, Chiellini, Srna, Fuchs.

England's Euro16 fate is lying on Sterling's shoulders, their most creative player atm.

Would rather have Kadlec or Hinteregger and use that 1.5 elsewhere.

That was good... finally I made up my mind with Austrian midfielder.
Numbers (conversion) says quite interesting things about Milner corners.

The one whose name begins for Junu and finishes zovic... 🙂
Alaba has advantage in penalties but J'ovic has more set pieces and he is in better form than Alaba recently (considering goals and assists for country) plus he is cheaper.

He's not a guaranteed starter, it's between him and MArital for the left wing spot.

    a) Muller, Lewa, Kane/Morata
    b) Muller, Giroud, Kane/Morata

To fund A I need to do Kosc > Mangala and have a cheap 4m defender on the bench in place of Dragovic

      Lewa, Giroud, Morata

      Lewa > Muller

      That's what I'm on

    Morning chaps,
I'm now feeling the need for David Silva in my team. I've been on/off fabregas and morata all week but worry about rotation. Thus feel Silva justifies his price. What you guys think of this lot? Too much team compromise cos of him?

    Rui Patrico / Kozacik
    Alba / Schar / Kadlec / Hinteligger / Lindelof
    Ozil / Grosicki / Perisic / Silva / Stanciu
    Muller / Giroud / Janko

Morata looks good for me but see where you are coming from

Where have you taken the funds from Stanciu?

Not sure what your question regarding Stanciu means dude - I've only got 5.5 left so went with him?

I mean where have you saved the extra $$ for Silva from? I don't think the team is that unbalanced but think Morata offers better value

      I have almost identical except:

      Randolph -> Kozacik
      Ronaldo -> Lewi
      Alli -> Fabregas

Think i actually prefer yours although i'd downgrade Dragovic to his teammate Hinteregger to upgrade Alli to Fab as i think Alli will be playing too deep to get decent points
