Strikers is tough at the moment

If you could have any 3 (within price reason ) who would you go for?

    I'm thinking

    Aguero , Austin , Costa

That front 3 would restrict money on midfield

      It IS tough.

Actually I am beginning to think that 4-4-2 may be a better way to go. I don't really like the sub-7.5m options for striker or in the midfield. Maybe Austin when the fixtures are right. But it's iffy.

I'd rather see myself going forward with any 2 of Costa, Kane, Lukaku in the long run. Maybe with Barrow as 1st sub. Something like that.

Yes, that's my team. I have usually linked it when posting regularly here (which I seem to be at the moment). I just tend not to do so at the start of the season.

Yeah there's no one I'm totally convinced of
Tekkers and luksku have ok numbers but not liking fixtures mid term for them .
I'm not ready today give up on Kun yet
Austin I like , but also like Redmond at the price
Costa is very meh , a 5 pointer each week and can see Hazard or even Pedro being better Chelsea options in this formation

Defoe, rashford , ibra no desire for
Arsenal and pool and no even playing a striker

As you say maybe Kane changes things

Tough call but after the poor defensive display by ManU i'd have to think Jose will be more open to experimenting, especially when Shaw is fit again. I'd say A. because of spot kicks and the attacking potential

I watch first episode of Season One last night, strange show. Really got me interested though.

I've just started The Fall, but old but it's brilliant so far.

Black Mirror and The Fall are both great. I think episode 1 of Black Mirror is definitely an outlier in terms of style - they're all strange though but well worth watching.

I watched the first three of Westworld but not sure how I feel about it. First one was interesting, second dull and I wasn't really concentrating on the third, but it seemed a bit wayward.

Haven't seen Westworld (don't have Sky) but I had concerns when I heard that Abrams chap was involved. Couldn't be doing with Lost at all so that puts me off. Would reconsider if I hear it's great but otherwise I'll stick with the film.

Only watched Nosedive and Playtest so far. Enjoyed them - basically I love Black Mirror so I was unlikely not to think they're great because I'd probably convince myself of that regardless (maybe that's what I've done? 😯 ).

Enjoyed Playtest fractionally less than Nosedive - didn't think it was as thought provoking as many of them but liked it anyway.

15 Million Merits remains my favourite.

Depends on which teams advance into the final rounds of the EFL Cup, Capital One Cup etc

There is normally 1-2 DGW per season but we wont know until the last final third of the season

Dont worry there will be thousands of DGW related posts when it does happen, you cant miss it

If you had to get back Aguero into your team for the 'Boro game in GW11, who would you sacrifice :

    1. Lukaku (Next 4 fixtures : che SWA sot UTD)

    or

    2. Costa (Next 4 fixtures : EVE mid TOT manc)

Hopefully Costa gets carded against Sotn, making the decision easier.

    Valencia, Clyne, Holebas, Evans, Amat

Same problem here. I also need to get rid of Snodgrass with 0.0 ITB and I'm currently thinking that Allen is the only one in this price bracket who could be worth getting. Problem is I'm not really convinced by him either.

    Thoughts on the following please:

    a) Robertson to Holebas (bench Pieters, no Stoke defensive double up)
    b) Save FT (play Pieters as part of double Stoke defence)

    Thanks.

      b) I don't think double Stoke def. is a bad thing v Swansea.

The thought of 2FTs does appeal. Only slight concern is bench defenders of Robertson and Amat would leave me with 10 men if Pieters, Bellerin or Smith were to miss out.

Even though Walcott & Sanchez could both easily be on the scoresheet this week it's too late for the Arsenal double up now I feel. Also look at Coutinho rather than Lallana he's certainly going to be best of the lot.

    Heaton Pickford
    Mustafi Huth Holebas Smith Amat
    Sanchez Payet Firmino Snod Fletcher
    Aguero Lukaku Wilson

    2FT, 0.1 ITB

Deeney or Austin for the next 4 GWs ?

Deeney : HUL liv LEI STO
Austin : CHE hul LIV EVE

Austin is in better form and cheaper by 0.5, but Deeney has better fixtures.

Both nailed and on pens. If the money helps then go Austin, otherwise go deeney

I'm looking at Deeney out for Austin after the Hull game.

I have Deeney and I'm planning to switch to Austin after HUL so guess I'd have to say Austin.

Austin for me. I'd also consider Wilson. I have Deeney and I'm going to transfer him out for Wilson next week.

Thanks Lyonnais and Bane, think I'll drop the Deeney idea and go with Austin now, instead of setting myself up for the Deeney -> Austin move next week

@Karan - cheers, Wilson is on the radar too

    Lallana or Arnie????

Have Firmino but no other stoke players. Planning to get Coutinho soon so maybe when arnie gets banned, I will get cout by downgrading Sanchez to hazard. Can also play 4-3-3 if arnie is banned. Pool double up is tempting though

Get arnie, I just went for siggy tho. You will want Cout and only means another transfer to do lallana to whoever

Don't waste transfers and just try to get Coutinho and finish it even if it costs 4 points right now.

It will cost 8 points because I'm doing Baines to Cameron/pieters/smith/Holebas to fund it

      I've got Mane and Allen.

Would you sanction my Antonio --> Lallana? Mane + Couts is a bit heavy...

Sanchez (C) even though he plays in the early saturday kickoff ? 😉

Great record v WHU. 6 goals and 3 assists in 8 PL games against them.
Maybe Lukaku it is then 😀

            It's risky for sure.

Thing is Hull are so bad atm. that he really should score against them. They conceded 11 goals in the last 2 away games, but don't know if Deeney is in good form at all. He only had a few shots in the last few games and I read that Watford looked a bit poor but they were away from home 3 times in the last 4 GW.

So I've just done Payet (yes Payet) + snoddy > Coutinho + siggy, I want Cout + sig long term and will look at ayew when west hams fixtures pick up
Feels wrong but kinda right at the same time

I know I know. It might bite me in the arse but his fixtures turn sour, no ones putting away his chances created and I think ayew will be a better option when fixtures turn. Also want hazard soon (again).its part of a plan.....believe it or not

True, but he's kinda fixture-proof imo, also could bang in free kick any game, but then again so could Siggy.
