The ScoutCast – Episode 202 – Delirious

Hands up, this ScoutCast is a bit scruffy.

Signed off work and delirious with man flu, we had to coax Granville to keep him from his sick bed. Fortunately, the fact he had a decent Gameweek helped persuade him.

However, he did insist on an early kick-off, with no pre-match warm-up. So Jonty and I were ill-prepared and it also meant that, head frazzled by a Lemsip overdose, Granville forgot to lock his children in the cupboard before we started.

Imagine the horror when they wandered in to hear Granville gloating about Yannick Bolasie.

Of course, you don’t have to imagine – you can join Jonty and myself as we risk contracting Granville’s affliction in order to talk about Fantasy Football for an hour.

Steered by another round of community questions, we also dip into Stoke assets, the captaincy, attacking defenders and, inevitably, with his transfers out stats climbing quicker than Granville’s temperature, we discuss Aguero’s fading star.

If you can bear to brave the chaos of this latest germ-ridden episode, then you can view the Google Hangout version, first published on our YouTube channel, in the second player below.

Be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for news on future live episodes.

You can restrict your sensory experience of Granville’s cold to just audio by clicking here or streaming using the first player.

Mark Mark created the beast. He's now looking to tame it.

So Walcott potentially out with a bench of Baines, Snodgrass and Amat.

    Marvellous! 🙁

My gw now relies on Amat.

How did it come to this?

Take a hit to either get rid of Walcott or Snodgrass.. Don't go into the GW with that bench and Walcott 😐

Only problem is I have no money itb and the only player who interests me to replace Snod is Stanislas and he's also a doubt.

Likewise I don't see any standout replacements for Wally? One week punt on Son?

Discussing selling aguero is like discussing religion.
Walcott gets a little niggle and everyone wants to sell on auto pilot.
Seeing as he is undervalued by 2 or 3 mil id say he is more important to have than aguero

Yeah, nobody is essential and anybody can be brought back.
When a top explosive player is making a mockery of his price tag I'd think long and hard before selling to avoid one week out or a few tricky games

but sometimes you've got to make brave calls in this game in order to progress up the ranks.

Most definitely. When to sell players is key. Personally I see no evidence atm that there is better uses of those funds than Walcott. His form and consistency look like maintaining.

one major hall from kun and you will be right back on that train, everybody will. anyone who doesn't transfer him in if he gets a brace against w brom, then fair play, you've stuck to your guns and it wasn't just brave talk... but how many people will do that??
