The ScoutCast – Episode 223 – Comedown

Gradually weaned off our double fixture helping and returned to normality, the ScoutCast team take time out to pick through the wreckage of Gameweek 34, before we set our sights firmly on what lies ahead.

Wildcards and Bench Boost chips lodged up their end of season sleeves, Jonty, Andy and Luke join me to embrace another round of community questions.

With the rebuilding programme imminent, we take a look at those shot-term punts who can do a job in Gameweek 35, before weighing up single fixture assets who can possibly hold their own amid the forthcoming circus of Gameweek 37.

And, of course, we carry out our weekly appraisal of Alexis Sanchez, as the Chilean hints at a return form just as an irresistable Eden Hazard closes in.

This ScoutCast was first beamed live via our YouTube channel on Monday night. Be sure to subscribe to get notice of future live episodes.

    Question #2:
    Gabbiadini or Jesus?(Negredo out)

I never knew posting 8 times on the trot about having a good week is Pundit of Punts version of 'celebrating' a high score. 😉

maybe but it's hard, there's bound to be rotation. I like the look of Huth as well, he won't get rotated. Prefer Yoshida to Stephens. You have room for Vertonghen as a 3rd spurs if you fancy too. But it looks good.

It is a little. Caballero, Clichy, Gabriel and Stephens are all risky. If you could play 2-5-3 every week, this would be great.

It's a wonderful team but there is some risk with Jesus, Clichy, and Gabriel (To a lesser extent if Arsenal retain a back 5). I'd swap Clichy for someone else.

93 with no hits is very very satisfying. Especially without any Chelsea in my team.

Planning to WC36 and BB37, but have 2FTs for punts in 35. What would be the best moves?

    Pickford
    Alonso Walker Valencia McAuley
    Alli Zaha King
    Aguero Kane Lukaku

    Grant Lanzini T.Carroll Amat

    2FT, £2.2m in the bank.

Sergio under no illusions about where he stands now...

'I know there will come a time when I'll have to step aside. Other young strikers like Gabriel Jesus will be brought in. Of course he's a very good young player which is why he's at City.
'When you reach a certain age, the youngsters start putting pressure on you and you have to be even better. I'm happy that he's back now and that means I'll have to be much more focused and alert when I play.'

    Looking to make the following transfers by the time GW36 rolls around;

    Valdes - DDG
    Rojo - Monreal
    Zaha - Sanchez
    Aguero - Afobe

Already transferred Gabbiadini in for Negredo for this GW, so any transfers this week would incur a points deduction. Do I split the hit this week or take it all next week?
