The Gameweek concludes at the Emirates Stadium, as Arsenal pay host to West Bromwich Albion.
In short, tonight’s match is very much an audition for Arsenal’s Fantasy assets, who will need to impress in order to enter our thinking for the Gameweeks ahead.
The Gunners have so far been a source of frustration, not least for manager Arsene Wenger.
Alexandre Lacazette has shown glimpses and flirted with our line-ups but goes into tonight’s match cast in the shadow of other heavy-hitters in attack. The Frenchman is still part of 10.2% of squads, though that total continues to dwindle.
Sead Kolasinac is another temptation and perhaps a more viable option.
He has impressed when handed the opportunities by Wenger and now seemingly cemented at left wing-back, he has the chance this evening to play his way into our defences. At 6.0 however, he will need to convince us to push funds into our backlines at a time when attacking players are very much the priority.
Alexis Sanchez could be one of those attacking options but his season has stalled due to injury and unrest to this point. He starts tonight and could easily become the headline act to spark Wildcards and transfer hits aplenty.
But, despite a miserable record at the Emirates, West Brom will surely prove a difficult barrier for Sanchez and Wenger’s attack.
Tony Pulis’ rearguard have conceded the fewest shots in the box in away matches this season (14) and the fewest big chances (2) – both records shared with leaders Manchester City.
They will also pose a threat to Arsenal at set-pieces. Craig Dawson – owned by 4.9% – scored a brace from corner kicks the last time these two teams met.
