Tunisia v England: Walker the go-to Fantasy asset

Kyle Walker (£6.0m) is the headline World Cup Fantasy for England ahead of their first game of Russia’s finals.

The Manchester City wing-back has become one of the most assured of starts in Gareth Southgate’s back-three, as a makeshift centre-back.

His importance to the Three Lions has convinced a tenth of World Cup Fantasy managers to sign him for Gameround 1.

Jesse Lingard (£7.5m) is the next most-popular in 6.9% of squads with expensive forward Harry Kane (£11.0m) in 6.6%.

With selection a possibility in midfield and attack, Dele Alli (£9.0m) and Raheem Sterling (£9.0m) are both before four percent ownership.

The most popular player in Tunisia’s ranks is striker Ahmed Kalil (£4.5m), who is not expected to get much game-time Russia. However, four percent of managers have opted to use him as a budget enabler.

Meanwhile, left-back Ali Maaloul’s (£4.5m) three assists in qualifying and recent friendlies has one percent including him on a punt.

Most went for Lukaku over Kane. The captaincy rules meant it only made sense to have one.

I know it's only 20 minutes, but what a great start from England, good tempo, nice movement off the ball, good energy and confidence. Playing how an England team should. Very impressed.

For once they’ve got a team in which the players are happy and proud to play for the shirt. Southgate has brought a good ethos to the team.

Southgate decided to skip out having a midfield so its hardly a suprise this 3-1-6 formation is attacking well.

But it suits England, I don't want to see them with two holding midfielders in games we should dominate.

Plenty of higher ranked teams than England, have struggled against much lower ranked teams than Tunisia.

You can only play who's in front of you, and it's more about how england are playing, rather than who they are playing.

They have started well but you can not jump to too many conclusions until they play a decent team.

lot of balls by Southgate to go with 1 holding instead of 2 as speculated. This should ensure plenty of goal chances but wonder if it might backfire defensively. It's the most offensive side England could throw out there so kudos to him in rolling the dice
