Best Bournemouth players to sign on FPL in 2018/19 – The Complete Members’ Analysis

Josh King, Charlie Daniels, Junior Stanislas, Nathan Ake: Bournemouth players have mostly been good to Fantasy managers since the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2015, offering decent returns for minimal investment.

Last season’s offerings were something of a disappointment from a Fantasy perspective, however, with no Bournemouth player reaching double figures for goals, assists or clean sheets.

King scored half as many goals (eight) as he managed in 2016/17, while Jordan Ibe’s total of six assists was the best any Cherries player could muster.

The Bournemouth defence was particularly porous, meanwhile, keeping only six clean sheets (a league-low shared with relegated Stoke City) in their 38 league matches.

Part of Bournemouth’s appeal from a Fantasy standpoint is that by now we mostly know what to expect from the south coast side. Eddie Howe is the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, following Arsene Wenger’s departure from Arsenal, having been on the books at the Vitality Stadium for well over five years. Many of Bournemouth’s players have also been with the club for an extended period: King, Daniels, Stanislas, Ryan Fraser, Adam Smith, Simon Francis, Steve Cook and Callum Wilson, among others, have featured in all three seasons that the Cherries have spent in the top flight.

While Howe’s formation is far from settled, having flip-flopped between a conventional back four and a three-man defence last season, the Cherries’ mantra remains comfortingly consistent: attack and attack some more.

    T. Silva or Miranda?

T Silva seems to connect well on freekicks

If you can afford Silva, get him coz he has greater chance of attacking returns.

Rumors of Messi to start as a false nine with Pavon and Di Maria on the wings. Rest of the team same as the last match. No true reliable sources confirming it though!

I would personally prefer Pavon in place of Perez than that of Higuain. Higuain not scoring is a given 😀 but he creates spaces for others and holds up play. Pavon and Messi could exploit that space. Lets hope it will be a great game to watch!

He is also arguably the best False 9 ever, during Guardiola era at Barca. With central strikers like Higuain missing sitters, could be a great move.

I'd like to pick him, but definitely won't. Just go for nailed guys except for Argies/French when you can actually see the lineup.

I am going with Muslera for Uruguay because I'm picking both pen takers in Sweden v Switzerland. Otherwise, I'd go for Godin, because he's brilliant.

My issue with this is Mexico v Brazil could turn into a 5-2. Mexico defence is not great and Brazil could pile on and be exposed at the back. I'd want more chance of attacking returns from a Brazil defender thank I think Miranda offers.

Portugal created very little so far. I'm expecting a tight, interesting match there. I'm happy with a single Uruguay option at the back.

    Neymar Kane Lukaku
Isco Modric Coutinho (sanchez and another 4.4)
    Carvahal, Pavard, Trippier, TSilva Granqvist
    Courtois Mvogo
My original team had Griezmann over Neymar and it was more balanced with Godin and Quintero over a 4.4 and pavard. Or I could downgrade phil or modric to Lingard but then I'd have triple England...
