Best Bournemouth players to sign on FPL in 2018/19 – The Complete Members’ Analysis

Josh King, Charlie Daniels, Junior Stanislas, Nathan Ake: Bournemouth players have mostly been good to Fantasy managers since the club’s promotion to the Premier League in 2015, offering decent returns for minimal investment.

Last season’s offerings were something of a disappointment from a Fantasy perspective, however, with no Bournemouth player reaching double figures for goals, assists or clean sheets.

King scored half as many goals (eight) as he managed in 2016/17, while Jordan Ibe’s total of six assists was the best any Cherries player could muster.

The Bournemouth defence was particularly porous, meanwhile, keeping only six clean sheets (a league-low shared with relegated Stoke City) in their 38 league matches.

Part of Bournemouth’s appeal from a Fantasy standpoint is that by now we mostly know what to expect from the south coast side. Eddie Howe is the longest-serving manager in the Premier League, following Arsene Wenger’s departure from Arsenal, having been on the books at the Vitality Stadium for well over five years. Many of Bournemouth’s players have also been with the club for an extended period: King, Daniels, Stanislas, Ryan Fraser, Adam Smith, Simon Francis, Steve Cook and Callum Wilson, among others, have featured in all three seasons that the Cherries have spent in the top flight.

While Howe’s formation is far from settled, having flip-flopped between a conventional back four and a three-man defence last season, the Cherries’ mantra remains comfortingly consistent: attack and attack some more.

I am going Hazard purely because he attempts to shoot way more than Lukaku, and also because he's on penalties and Belgium have all the quality in the world to get a penalty a game especially against a weak Japan side, they had a disastrous game last game against a shambolic team of Poland

Thoughts on this bench boost team? WC intact.
Will be waiting for Pavard news.

    Muslera - Olsen
    Carvajal - Aldeweireld - Pavard - Strinic - Granqvist
    Isco - Coutinho - Quintero - Claesson - Modric
    Lukaku - Kane - Costa

Only three differences from mine. I went Sommer instead of Olsen because I already had 2 Sweden and 0 Switzerland. Are you confident Sweden will win?

Sort of confident, the keeper is mainly making up the numbers. It doesn't matter too much if they don't progress as I still have wildcard.

Do you think David Silva is due a goal? isn't Spain also due a Penalty? I have a feeling David Silva can bag more points especially if the Russian CBs mark Deigo Costa the entire game

I’m on Silva, think he’s due a goal and Russian defenders will be in a physical battle with Costa and will find Silva hard to pick up
