There are plenty of options to help Fantasy Premier League managers invest in Manchester City’s attack for Gameweek 5.
The defending champions are facing a leaky Fulham defence at home on Saturday with a lot of attention on Sergio Aguero (£11.3m), but we’ve found there’s a case to be made for his strike partner too.
Elsewhere, we’ve got routes into the Southampton defence and Leicester attack to help propel you up the rankings.
Gabriel Jesus (£10.4m)
Ownership: 2.0%
If Gabriel Jesus starts for Manchester City in Gameweek 5, he has the potential to score very big. Fulham look set to concede heavily in this one with no side allowing more shots in the penalty box than the Cottagers in the first four Gameweeks.
Jesus has a good chance of capitalising on that having actually bettered Sergio Aguero (£11.3m) in some areas so far this season. He is ahead on minutes per shot in the penalty box, minutes per shot on target, and minutes per pass received too.
The Brazilian has played fewer minutes than his Argentinian in 2018/19 (187 to 335) having started half as many times. That could mean that he is named on the bench against Fulham, but he has started alongside Aguero in both home matches so far. If that trend continues in Gameweek 5, then he could match or even outscore his more popular colleague.
Jannik Vestergaard (£4.9m)
Ownership: 0.4%
Southampton’s towering centre-back has the potential for a big score in Gameweek 5 with a clean sheet and attacking returns all achievable for him.
The Southampton defence is expected to do well on Monday night as they host a Brighton side that has been largely ineffective on the road.
The Seagulls are currently the worst side in the league for big chances and shots on target recorded in away games.
The Saints admittedly rank fourth worst for big chances conceded at home, and only five sides have allowed more shots on target. However, goalkeeper Alex McCarthy (£4.5m) is third for saves so far and second for xG prevented. That suggests the Saints will concede less and keep more clean sheets than their underlying numbers suggest.
Furthermore, Vestergaard carries some goal threat having scored seven times in his spell with Borussia Monchengladbach. Brighton look primed to concede from set pieces having allowed more attempts from such situations than any side other than Cardiff and Newcastle.
Jamie Vardy (£8.9m)
Ownership: 3.3%
Leicester City’s talismanic striker Jamie Vardy (£8.9m) is set to return to action in Gameweek 5 after serving a three-match suspension.
His absence since his sending off in Gameweek 2 has caused the typically well-backed striker to drop to just 3.3% ownership, giving him the potential to be a powerful differential.
The Foxes rank highly for attack on our Season Ticker currently with a trip to Bournemouth coming up in Gameweek 5. After that, Leicester face a home match against Huddersfield, an away match at Newcastle before hosting Everton.
Vardy can be very effective for that run of matches having scored at least 20 goals in two of the last three seasons.

Yo, MODS!
Just an idea, but why ain't there a direct link to the youtube channel from the FFS homepage? ^^ Kinda like the "see more tweets" thing. But the videos are getting more and more interesting these days, so for us that don't frequent Youtube that often, it would be great to have a way of reaching them from FFS ^^
