Shaqiri back in the Liverpool attack as Klopp continues with a 4-2-3-1

The final match of Gameweek 14 is the third local derby of the day, with Everton making the short trip across Stanley Park to face Liverpool.

The Reds are unbeaten in the Premier League this season and have only conceded one goal in six top-flight matches at Anfield.

Marco Silva’s side have only lost one of their last seven Premier League fixtures, meanwhile, keeping four clean sheets along the way.

There were no major shocks upon the release of the teamsheets, with Everton indeed unchanged from the side that beat Cardiff City 1-0 in Gameweek 13.

Richarlison (£7.0m) leads the line for Everton again, with Yerry Mina (£5.4m) continuing at centre-back.

Xherdan Shaqiri (£7.0m), Trent Alexander-Arnold (£5.2m) and Fabinho (£5.5m) all return to Jurgen Klopp’s starting XI after missing out in midweek, with the Reds looking like they will again line up in a 4-2-3-1.

This formation will presumably see Mohamed Salah (£13.0m) leading the line, with Roberto Firmino (£9.2m) dropping into “the hole” and Shaqiri playing out wide on the right.

Andrew Robertson (£6.5m) and Virgil van Dijk (£6.0m) also start for the third time in a week, while Joe Gomez (£5.1m) moves over to centre-back at the expense of Dejan Lovren (£4.9m).

Liverpool XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Mane, Salah, Firmino.

Everton XI: Pickford, Coleman, Mina, Keane, Digne, Gomes, Gueye, Walcott, Sigurdsson, Bernard, Richarlison.

Keep Haz at least this week and roll a FT, or spend the FT on Haz to Sane? (0.5 ITB currently). Thanks lads!!

    Fabianski (Hamer)
    Robertson Alonso Digne (Doherty AWB)
    Salah(c) *Hazard* DSilva Fraser (Diangana)
    Aubameyang Arnautovic Jiménez

(Salah out after GW15 to fund Kane, most likely).

Hazard is a troll and I am glad I avoided the bandwagon yet again for him. He does run through purple patches though so it is up to you. I would sell though (but I never would have bought in the first place)

Keep Haz. I'd rather sell Salah. He's in terrible form an nowhere near worth his pricetag atm.

Jürgen Klopp: "Robbo also, his leg... his hip. So we have to see, we play again in 3 days that’s really hard. But tonight we don’t have to worry about that."

Also confirms Mane picked up a knock during the game.

Was all set to get Lloris today. Though now they conceded 4 and lost Veryonghen may not be the best idea.
Still Lloris or which GK for up to 5.4 m?

      Hi!

Got current team with 2 FT and WC available.
      Alisson - Hamer
      Alonso - Robertson - Laporte
      Hazard - Mané - Richarlisson - Martial - Fraser
      Arna - Aguero
Bench: Fraser - Success - AWB

What would you do of theese altenatives:
      a) Aguero & Hazard --> Sané & Kane
      b) Aguero & Laport --> Digne & Kane
      c) Aguero & Alisson --> Fabiansky & Kane
      d) other...?

      Cheers!

Aubameyang or Kane? It's tricky, Kane has SOU next for (C) and is more guaranteed game time. But Aubameyang also has good fixtures, is cheaper, and I feel Arsenal have more goals in them. I would get both but would require a hit and losing Hazard and Arnautovic or Jimenez who I'm happy with. I think Kane is safer and is on pens. But I am tempted by the cheaper option.

I have considered this too. Eriksen has always been good to me in the past, but he's just back from injury so don't think he's free from rotation

I've gone for Kane cause his fixtures are great, plus he is nailed, plus he has Soton next who play like a team of 11 wheelie bins
I can see Maureen packing the bus next game and sneaking a dirty 1-0

      4. AndyCook
          5 years, 11 months ago

Auba on pens too quite possibly?

        • Dr Robotnik
          • 8 Years

I think I've decided to ditch Hazard after wolves and get both. Lose Jimenez. He's been good, but Aubameyang, Kane, and Arnautovic up front all with great fixtures is too tempting. It will be worth the -4. Kane this week, Aub next week

        Tough one:

        A) Martial / Aguero > Francis / Kane (-4)

        or

        B) Aguero > Auba (hope Martial plays)

What would you think the chances of Mahrez playing against Watford?

Did Aubameyang look amazing today? He’s been scoring all season but seems a big chance of opinion on him

So, I am thinking for my WC:
            Fab / Hamer
            Alonso, Robbo, Laporte, WB, Bennett
            Sterling, Sane, Fanderson, Rich, Stephens
            Auba, Arnie, Wilson
            1.1m ITB

            Thoughts?

              Need some spurs cover
              Fanderson to Son maybe?

Son will play 1 game every 10. The only people I would debate from that team are Kane and Eriksen and they're both too expensive for me. Could do Kane instead of Auba but I think Auba will return more.

              Bennet+richa >>> Siggy + Doherty/Schindler

Hmmmmm possibly. Sigurdsson on all set pieces right? If I upgraded Bennett, it would be to somebody who doesn't concede a lot of goals so not Doherty

Can't afford Doherty anyway. Would be a limit of 4.7m

            Bottomed

I have Sterling but no spurs cover

Who should I take out Martial for
            A) Son
            B) Sane
            C) Alli
