This week, Joe is joined by Az and David to discuss the key Fantasy Premier League talking points ahead of Gameweek 3.

The next round of action is an important one for Fantasy managers as many will be wielding their two free transfers.

Already bandwagons have begun to form, so our Scoutcasters will be discussing how best to approach these.

Naturally, Teemu Pukki (£6.7m) is a prime example after he scored a hat-trick in Gameweek 2.

However, we will also be examining Liverpool assets after a lacklustre start to the season at both ends of the pitch.

        I’m just thinking am I holding a liverpool attacker out of fear or anticipation

        I look at those fixtures and see 9 of the next 12 weeks where they’re not captain... so it must be more fear...

        But it’s risky for sure

          They are a great side who will win most of those games. I’d prefer to hedge my bets with one Man City and one Liverpool mid. Sterling and Mané looks more balanced and if Liverpool run riot won’t your rank.

            I don’t doubt they’ll win most of those, but will they win most of them by the 2, 3, 4 goal margins that are needed for captaincy... I don’t see cricket scores in those fixtures by & large

            But like I’ve said a few times, it’s risky, but also potentially rewardy 🙂

            It depends how you define “trouble” - but seriously look at their fixtures on the ticker up to GW14

            How many captaincy fixtures jump out? And in those 3 weeks, what are City & spurs fixtures like?

            I know full well Liverpool *should* win a chunk of those... but will they win by the margins needed to make the most of captaincy is the question?

            I.e. are they being held out of fear, or anticipation... I think it’s more fear to be honest

            But like I’ve said a few times, it’s a move that is not without its risks

              Fair points. I was considering using my 2 FTs on Salah and King to Son and Firmino, but was concerned about missing out on Salah captaincy against Burnley and Newcastle. Thanks for bringing up the bigger picture; I hadn’t looked at the fixtures beyond those two. I guess I might just go with it; whatever points I miss out on will be compensated by the joy on that one gameweek where going with the gut and doing the unthinkable pays off.

            Well not all 5.5 cams are born equal 😉

            Ceballos for example, his fixtures are horrific, his role is uncertain & his manager is a psychopathic roulette croupier... but he could do well obviously

            McGinn I’d also want to see more from for a while - he’s still very new - I’d definitely have Zinky over those two at the minute for sure

      Like it. Very similar to my team, but I've got Grealish instead of Son, and kept double Liverpool defence instead of KWP and Zinch; I just think they'll return to solidity pretty soon. Easy switches to Laporte and co if not

    Trying to fit in all the midfielder and finding myself having trouble deciding between martial or kdb... ending with kdb...

    sterling salah/mane kdb + 5.5/6.0 + 4.5

    am still the school of 3-4-3 and if i go with martial my price structure will be very iffy...

    now trying to go with rashford up top you think it will be a good "cover" or martial price and OOP vs rashford POO is necessary...

Subbed on with just under 20 minutes left to play, the young striker made an immediate impression on the Goodison faithful, running at the winded Watford defense.

      With a scary blend of skills, speed and strength, Kean sliced his way through the opposition and nearly netted himself two goals.       If majority of Villa fans I'm seeing online had their way Guilbert would start. Elmo has been really good though but lot of fans not interested in stats only scapegoats
