Note to self for next season: Don't bother checiking out rival teams. If I hadn't tried to cancel out transfers when on top or selecting differentials when behind, then I would still be leading my ML. Go with the players I think will score the most points.

But now I'm 25-35 behind #1 and 60-ish in front of #3, so migh just as well have some fun and go all out in the last round. ML is lost.
There are so many posts on here about this situation. Always go for the team you think will score more... that's how you win (if you pick the right players) 😉
That's what I have been doing most of the season, and it took me to 1.3k overall in the rankings. Then with the DGW coming closer and my main rival having a WC, I just lost it. Started following what he were doing too closely. Well, you live and learn.
This seems like such an obvious thing but it's the best advice you can ever be given in FPL. I think looking too much at rivaling teams is the most common mistake in this game.
Only time I'd advice you to do it is when chasing a mini league leader with 5 or less gameweeks left.
