Blank Gameweek 18 is just around the corner, and I wanted to use this opportunity to present some picks I feel should be part of your squad if you are opting to use the Free Hit.
At the time of writing, there was a lot of uncertainty looming around Spurs so, for the purpose of this piece I steered clear of the two clubs.
After all, the best way to maximise a Free Hit squad is to base as much as you can on things you are certain about.
Could go Spurs defender and Foden/Gundogan?

Yeah I would try to upgrade ESR to Saka at least.
Doesn't have the $$$ - would need to downgrade a defender or two to get enough to make that move.
Saiss to Holding, Brewster to Davis should be enough and maybe Mitchell to Douglas. The benched players are getting like 1-2 points anyway not needed.

Risky taking a hits to put out a team of just 8 players, likely 7 starters (Brewster far from certain to, even less to return). Also 6 of those only play once in DGW19.
Thoughts on these two combos in FH please:
1. Tierney and Foden (double Arsenal defence, double City attack) OR
2. Dias and Saka (double Man City defence double Arsenal attack)
*FYI Maguire is probably third defender, with Leno/Darlow in goal.

Considered it, but only slightly less rotation risk than Foden and I think he or Saka have higher ceiling as one-week punts.
