Mane, Matip and Pogba benched as Man Utd host Liverpool in Gameweek 9

In the final match of Gameweek 9, Manchester United host Liverpool in a mouth-watering clash at Old Trafford.

Kick-off is at 16:30 BST.

Manchester United make three changes from Gameweek 8, with Marcus Rashford (£9.4m), Fred (£4.9m) and Scott McTominay (£5.4m) replacing Nemanja Matic (£4.5m), Paul Pogba (£7.6m) and Jadon Sancho (£9.0m).

Bruno Fernandes (£11.8m) also starts despite heading into the game as a doubt.

For Liverpool, Sadio Mane (£11.9m) drops to the bench with Joel Matip (£5.0m).

As a result, Diogo Jota (£7.5m) starts in attack alongside Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) and Roberto Firmino (£8.9m), while Ibrahima Konate (£5.1m) partners Virgil van Dijk (£6.6m) in defence.

Curtis Jones (£5.0m) is a substitute having missed the last two games with a groin injury, but Fabinho (£5.4m) and Thiago (£5.3m) miss out completely.

    Thinking about quitting FPL. Used my WC this week, thought I may be ahead and got rid of Sanchez, TAA, Foden, Antonio, all my punts and prospects like double Che def with Azpi, Havertz, Son or Toney failed.

    Literally would need another WC right now with Vardy or Raph potentially injured as well.

    Is there any point playing going forward? Feel like any decision this year is a fail.

      Yer. I do it when i am out of reach in my cash leagues. Pointless prolonging the pain if your mission is over. Always find i enjoy football more and it really ain't so bad once you actually do it.

      Hello mate sorry to hear that I felt the same yesterday here’s what I did

      - take the fpl app off my homescreen so I don’t check it
      - take a day or a few hours at least off coming to this board
      - no fpl content at all
      - got outside for a game of golf to forget about it

      Felt 100x better after all these hope this helps

      Yeh hard luck, definitely keep playing mate. We've all had weeks and seasons when we feel like we're crap but you'll bounce back. You took brave decisions and they didn't pay off; the eventual winner will have to have taken brave decisions too!

      Maybe just take between now and your next wildcard to have some fun and maybe learn a thing or two about your style. Bring in players you like watching, muck around with formations and don't watch rank too much coz you're just trying stuff out!

    Man utd shattered record fees to sign Sancho. Then shattered their entire club by signing Ronaldo. Now Sancho warms the bench and greenwood, Rashford & Cavani are passengers up front. Bruno's not the top dog at the club anymore and it's showing. Back to square 1.

    Sold Shaw for James before the end of the previous gameweek.

    But then.... after team news....

    I took -8 to sell Lukaku and Odegaard for Edouard and Havertz(c), which allowed me to to bench Smith Rowe and Alexander Arnold...

    Also I don't own Salah

      Jota + Lukaku > Havertz(C) + VArdy (-8) cost me 37 points

      Is my math right,37points is brutal

      (Salah(C)48 + Jota 11 = 59)
      (Salah 24 + Havertz(C)6 = 30)
      so 29 +8 for hits = 37

      It would be Salah(C) and Jota from bench for Lukaku
