    Bench Who?

    Watkins or Mbeumo?

    Johstone or Turner?

    Turner (Johnstone)
    Chilwell Udogie Estupinan (Baldock Kabore)
    Fernandes Saka Martinelli Mbeumo Sterling
    Halland Jackson (Watkins)

I'd bench Jackson over Watkins and Mbeumo.

      And play Turner

Hello! We would be really grateful if you could help us by filling in this 2-minute survey; We are two FPL addicts from Portugal writing our master’s thesis on how Premier League clubs could better engage with the FPL community. To aid our study we have created a survey for FPL players. Thank you!

Yup, i'm back to post under a non-scamming article.

I'm on a wildcard. Gonna swerve Toon v Newcastle, but my first transfer is likely to bring Trippier in. Expecting good things with the defence.

it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Pedro, Alvarez and Diaz are benched this weekend.

You'd think the latter 2 should start but I'd wait on press conference noises etc

            there is that.

he's the classier option but Awoniyi is consistent. Just think I'll take any rotation on the chin if I go with Alvarez.

            even better for goals.

last season Arsenal kept most of their clean sheets on the road. The home fans demand attacking play so it opens it up a bit more.

it can be a funny dynamic but better teams are probably better off playing Liverpool or Arsenal who will go for a win and not play the low block.

many wanted him the other week but didn't want a hit. It would have paid off in gw4.

GWs listed below where I would potentially go against Haaland (C).

        GW8
        Arsenal v Man City
        Luton v Spurs

        GW9
        Man City v Brighton
        Spurs v Fulham
        Sheffield Utd v Man Utd
        Liverpool v Everton

        GW10
        Man Utd v Man City
        Palace v Spurs
        Arsenal v Sheffield Utd
        Brighton v Fulham
        Liverpool v Forest

        GW12
        Chelsea v Man City
        Wolves v Spurs
        Arsenal v Burnley
        Man Utd v Luton

        GW13
        Man City v Liverpool
        Everton v Man Utd
        Forest v Brighton

        GW14
        Man City v Spurs
        Arsenal v Wolves
        Liverpool v Fulham

        GW15
        Villa v Man City

I just think by definition the best players have to be able to score in the better games.

he'll blank on occasions, but you'll need to get the blank and the alternative right which is 2 factors that have to fall your way.

You don't necessarily need him to blank, just the captaincy pick to outscore Haaland.

that's fair but say Haaland 6 points and Saka 12 points doesn't make a huge difference when you captain one when owning both.

the key point is having both returning in the same gw.

                  it's 24 points v 30 on that basis.

The key point here is the correct decision was made as another option outscored Haaland.

my point is that's pretty hard to get as it's 2 decisions that have to land in a given week.

but good luck, hope it works out well for you!

He's got a persistent injury. One of these niggles you can still play with but with pain. Will he start at Old Trafford? Being a Manchester United fan you'll bet he will want to at least.

I’m still split on Newcastle assets. Liverpool’s fixtures seem just as good so think I would invest there first. Strangely, nobody seems to be talking about them. It’s Newcastle or nothing for some.

They don’t have a better run of fixtures this season than right now. 2 maybe 3 ‘tough’ games in the next 12 GWS.

they need to start winning a few

especially with Milan, Dortmund, PSG and Man City all coming up in 2 cups.

could really dent the squad confidence getting beaten on a Tuesday or Wednesday then playing the weekend.

of course, the opposite could happen but they are played 4, 1 win and 3 losses so far.

Callum Wilson is better goalscorer than Isak for PL football, he should be starting for sure at the Centre Fwd role in the PL matches and be benched in UCL games. I think Howe will start playing him

I have on FT and I'm considering the following:

Rashford to Mbeumo? (Doesn't seem like great timing with Brentford's fixture?)
              OR
Colwill to Trippier? (concerned about Newcastle's form)

              Or just keep my FT?

              Team below:

              Ederson
              Estupinan - Gabriel - Colwill
Bruno Fernandes - Saka - Maddison - Rashford - Sterling
              Haaland - Watkins

Unless they have changed the rules, if you use your first WC in GW5, you only have one WC left to use and there are 33 GWs left.

but then you don't have one for the final 18 game weeks of transfers.

whose to say a WC 15 and 30 aren't better with injuries piling up etc?

You are not looking at it correctly. You need to use your first WC between GW1 and GW20. It is irrelevant how many total GWs are left. So, there are 15 GWs left to use your first WC. The second one then becomes available for the remaining 18 GWs.

Yes and no. After having played WC we do have free transfers and more transfers with cost. Therefore people will get their teams close to template later in the season if they want to. (5-)10 weeks after having played the chip you cannot guess from the team when it was used. Effect of WC depends on how many (important) players are changed etc, but it will not last forever.

                                true...

generally speaking there's a point where you want or have to do 7 or 8 changes and that's when the wildcard is ideal.

often with injuries or suspensions in Feb or March time?

so Dec. and March could be better than tweaking in Sept. and Jan.

The point is correct, you are either too thick to understand, or don't want to understand it. But good day to you and GL!

The point is wrong but I am not here to keep explaining why. If you or AC don't understand it, then that is on you. Moving on as I am dumbing down here.

Kept explaining what? You posted the rules once, even though the point wasn't about the rules. I'm convinced you are just trolling now, so see you later 🙂

If you can't digest or understand the point being made, there is no point continuing to explain.

Don't think there is a huge need for you to WC. Not sure I'd keep Foden on WC though

Yes, your WC team is better but I'd prefer Schar over Saliba and Cash over Aurier

I agree. However, there is not enough upside to WC yet IMHO.

Help me, Played WC last gw. But Im thinking of this move for a hit:
                  Trippier + Eze
                  - to-
                  Schar Son(C)
Should i do this? I was going to bench Eze but if I do the transfer I will bench Mbeumo

Maybe stick with your WC picks for a few more GWs is better option

Is Mitoma or Foden to Maddison or Son worthwhile this week? I was set on it at the end of the last GW but the closer I'm getting to the deadline the more I think I could roll.

If the Fomo effects of Spurs are wearing off, I'd suggest rolling.
Imagine Spurs losing 1-0 (by going all Spursy) and next week your players play home Bou and home Forest, and youve two frees to use. And you're not stuck with Son against Liv and Ars

                  Ederson
                  Gusto Estupian Romero

                    You're v well set.

nothing needed - try to sell your transfer in a shady deal?

Spurs two tough fixtures after this week. Maybe Saliba out to use a transfer.
