          You can't use it later if you want but you don't -have- to use it after one.

          I played mine last week as I was fairly certain of most of the players I wanted for the next stretch (and my team needed it. 3x CHE, Rashford, Onana etc etc.)... and the fact literally all the players looked like they would be rising in price over next few.

          We'll probably have similar teams if you WC in GW8 however I'll probably have spent about 1m less to get it.

          This isn't me saying the way I did it was right (I'm still down at 2m, if not for a 50/50 decision which would have put me at under 500k now!)... but it's worth weighing up which advantages matter more to you.

          Sometimes. I did mine a couple of days ago and it sorted me right out. With those players, if you wait too much longer it'll be too late by then anyway.

      Tough one that, i think the 1st option. Anderson is a bigger upgrade over Mitchell than Porro is over Udogie.

      I think it's kind of weird to make a Salah sacrifice and still not have someone like Saka.

      Tricky next two perhaps, but MCI lost la st 2 on the trot & CHE are a mess.

    Seriously looking at going without Haaland for GWs 8-15.
    Son, Salah, Diaby, Watkins, Saka, Trippier, Alvarez there are better captain options most weeks (other than Bournemouth at home in GW11).

        Not forgetting Trippier. Unfortunately Haaland is capable to do back to back hatties against almost any team, probably barring only Arsenal and Newcastle. I decided (on WC before this week) to go without Saka for a while. I think there is (unfortunately) decent chance for an injury to happen to one of these players. If Son or Saka for example is out, getting Haaland back might be on the cards.

    Turns out that Darren England was allowed to cash in and be part of the refs away 3 days to UAE to officiate a match. He was on VAR.

    Now there could well be indirect influence there.

    How much was he paid?

    Flew back in on Friday ... I bet your bottom dollar it was business or first class and he was quaffing the complimentary drinks.

    Probably had a car on arrival with a driver.

    Conclusion ... he was hungover??

      could be an interesting case study in ethics training in years to come.

      I'm sure refs think they are incorruptible so they signed off on it, but they are policing themselves and undoubtedly cashing in on the Middle Eastern monies.

      Doesn't seem right but following the lead of the English and European clubs etc. Who have sold out the game.
