Think yesterday may be a turning point for Gabriel, rock solid defensive performance at a tough place bar Ramsdales antics. Surely Arteta tries to keep the same personnel where possible bar maybe some Zinchenko rotation

Not much mention of Isik as alternative to Alvarez or Watkins. Goal on his return yesterday and guaranteed good run with Wilson out injured.

Just maybe need confirmation on how far Wilson is away and how the CL qualifying plays out

I screwed up today with 2 FT's. i pressed confirm rather than refresh being distracted by family.
I went Alvarez to Isak and Bowen to Mbeumo to see if it worked.
It could go horribly wrong without waiting.
Having said that, If isak can beat the fixture pile up and Bowen remains injured, it can pay,

I would suggest using a FPL transfer planner from LiveFPL (browser) or FPL Team and Plan FPL (App) to prevent this from happening again

Given that Archer appears to be getting no service is Semenya now the best cheap striker to invest in for occasional bench points in a 3-5-2? Or still Archer due to minutes?

Just a had a look there now, Archer definitely had more minutes Semenya is in and out, I’d just edge Archie fwiw.

Looking like Davies & Emerson at CB for Spurs today.

Perhaps an improvement on Dier & Villa a tough opposition to trial it out on... but no recognised CBs!

Really wish I had listened to Mark on the Son captaincy 🙁

He called the City Liverpool game perfectly on Friday night.

Anything can happen, let's be real. It's not a forgone conclusion Son does well. I've capped him too but Villa are a very good team.

What's Son got to do with the CB pairing. None of them have the distribution of Vdv? If Lo Celso isn't starting I'd be worried about how they link up from midfield to Son. Haaland could/should have had a brace. Lo Celso is no where near to Maddo in creativity levels. If anything I'd say Son captainers have taken a risk that could pay off

It is true but I fear you might be a little reactionary towards Virgin. (maybe you dent like him)
What he has said is Mark got his call right. Awaiting the final result.
Now I am being reactionary! shame on me.

I don't know what he said but I'm not sure he got anything right because like I say Haaland could have had 2 or 3. Then he would have been punished ( assuming he went Son)

I don't dislike him. I just couldn't understand the relevance of Son a post about their CB's

Son captainers were extremely lucky yesterday. 9 out of 10 times Haaland puts that brace chance away

Not sure if I am over cooking this but I cant help but notice how long it took for Arsenal to take a throw in. corner or free kick. Outside of Rice decisions were negative, indecisive and slow.'
It could be a Brentford thing, slowing things down with antics but not all the time.
I can jump on defenders not not rushing for attacking assets,

From an FPL POV, yes the attack has been impacted. Main threats in Martinelli and Saka are wide and not much combination of play between FB, #8 and WF so they tend to be isolated

This is what I see. Brentford can be spoilers but the wide forwards and more importantly Odegaard, is concerning.

Ramsdale gonna be Arsenal's first choice keeper now? Not for CS yesterday but Raya not looking as reliable as him.

Watched the game and clear he had zero confidence with the basic mistakes he made in the first half. Grew into the second half and decent performance. Just need to see how Arteta handles this as it has been quite poor.

Haven't seen the game yet but didn't Ramsdale have some howler where Mbeumo nicked the ball off him in the area? I know Raya has had some dodgy moments too but Ramsdale seems even more uncomfortable with the ball at his feet (not just yesterday but for a while before being dropped)

It was Wissa that nicked it off Ramsdale who was needlessly dithering. Mbuemo had the shot from it - which Rice did brilliantly to cover.

In one game and didn't cost them. Raya has made a few bloopers but he's not long at Arsenal. Haven't either of them but have Gabriel and prefer a more solid keeper for CS chances.
