Are these based on bookies odds?

Mad how City are so high when they've got a whopping ONE more clean sheet than United this season. United also haven't failed to score at the Etihad since 2017 (finished 0-0 with 10 men).

Rashford to score in the 90th minute and point at his head, I will be there no matter what. Final score 6-1 City.

That means reduced by 10% or 1.5 players injured 🙂 ... doesn't seem a reason to wildcard

Could be tough owning a decent bench for BB if Son, Salah, Haaland, Saka are all doubling in the same week.

True, still have to build towards 37 to get the most out of 34.

This could be decent strategy if it allows you to hold the good SGW34 players and BB in 34 with lesser team. Can cherry pick the premiums for their double in 37 then. But it all depends on how the fixtures fall which is why its slightly tempting to just see off BGW29 without FH.

Yeah its between between a Bou def or Doughty I feel. Already double Arsenal so im good with 2 spots. Still not certain about FH in 29 or not.

Hello friends, would you help me out with this please?

My team is decently set up to navigate 29 without a free hit. I can see why FH29 appeals and I'm not criticising that approach - I just don't think it's the one for my squad. I have 6 confirmed players for 29 at the moment, plus Kabore.

With that in mind, what would you do here?

    A) Estupinan to Gabriel for free (means I'd need a hit to get to 9+ players in 29 but I have no Arsenal defence)
    B) Estupinan to Doughty for free (4 fixtures compared to Gabriel's 2)
    C) Save FT
    D) Something else

Basically, Gabriel v Doughty. Not getting Gabriel back has cost me a lot of points but do I just take my medicine and bring him back on WC31? Or bring him back now?

    1FT 1.1ITB
    Areola
    Cash Estupinan Robinson
    KDB Saka Foden Bowen
    Haaland Watkins Solanke*

    Dubravka Gordon* Reguilon Kabore

    Thanks

Save! A transfer for a non-GW29 CB (Gabriel) doesn't make sense when planning for 29. Dourghy is the better move, but no need to rush it.

      Thinking:
      GW28: Haaland, Estupi > Morris, Doughty (-4)
GW29: Solanke > Toney (& maybe a hit for Son)
      GW30: Luiz/Gordon > Palmer
      GW31: WC

Think I'm moving Maguire out for Denesi this GW (not that bothered by his yellows).
Does a FH 29, WC 30/31 or WC 28 look best here we reckon.
Could also just take a 1 week punt on an Arsenal player if 100% WC next week.

For GW30 and beyond I'm looking to get to:

    Salah Son Saka Foden Palmer
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

Problem is funds are too tight. I have to sacrifice one of them. Who would you lose? (can't lose Palmer because he wouldn't raise enough funds)

Currently thinking Solanke > Mateta/Muniz/Semenyo and plan to bench them every week unless they have a DGW. Mateta looks decent for it since they might double in 34.

The other option is Son > Richarlison/Maddison

    1. PascalCygan
      • Fantasy Football Scout Member

Had a similar thought when drafting my likely WC31. I had Semenyo in that one with a potential BB37 in mind. I've had some success with Mateta and Edouard in the past (yes, really!) so, if you're not looking to FH34, Mateta is a decent bench option.

Given Solanke's fixtures get a little tougher at the tail end of the season I'd probably sacrifice him.
But there's also a chance Son's output isn't as good with Richi up top - not basing that on any stats, just think Son is better when he plays up top rather than on the left.
Having said that, I think Son is a better asset than Solanke.

      1. Camzy

Problem is his fixtures from GW30-34 are really nice. And I'd plan to WC35 so it wouldn't really matter.

It's a problem for later obviously but worth looking ahead to what I might decide to do come GW30. A -4 to get Salah looks likely and then I'll have to pick my sacrificial lamb from Son, Watkins, Solanke most likely. Maybe an injury will make that decision easier.

        Yes I would.

I could technically afford it if I did like Porro > 3.8m defender.

But then my defense would be Gabriel, Senesi, Zabarnyi, Reguilon, 3.8m which is really not great. I think I'd rather pick a sacrificial lamb from the front 8 and ease the bench headache in the process.

Just tried to build that team myself
Defence would have to be 5 defenders for a total of 22.5m

As a sense check why not look at total points then an alternative with a better defender and budget forward

My gut is telling me to go really cheap at the back. Aside from Gab I’m getting ones and twos from the likes of Porro/Walker/Estu so they will be gradually weeded out when I get the luxury of spare transfers

If KDB plays, that's going to hurt Foden's output right?

It didn't impact his hatty against Brentford when both started...

    Areola
    Gabriel, Senesi, VVD

    What would you do here:

    Areola Dubravka
Gabriel Alex Moreno Reguilon Kabore Maguire
    KDB Foden Saka Palmer Richarlison
    Haaland Watkins Toney

I'm thinking just Kabore to Senesi. Would leave me

    Areola
    Gabriel Alex Moreno Senesi
    KDB Foden Saka Richarlison
    Haaland Watkins Toney

    Dubravka Palmer Reguilon Maguire

Is that strong enough for this week?

Any transfer now is dependent on strategy for 28 and 29.

I would be tempted to start Palmer every game and have a team balance that allows this

    Martinez Leno
    Saliba Pau Castagne Burn Porro
    Saka Foden Odegaard Palmer Hwang
    Haaland Watkins Solanke

    Will probably FH29

    Thoughts on Foden>Son?
Son seems heavily favoured this week, but Foden against that MUN defense could do well too...?

Klopp on Salah: "I don't think Mo is too far off, but he won't reach tomorrow. Next week it's possible. On the way back but not there yet."

1 FT, 2.5M ITB - advice appreciated. Will likely FH in 29. Not looking great, but save FT?

    Dubravka
    Saliba, Burn, Porro*
    Saka, Foden, Odegaard, Richarlison
    Haaland, Watkins, Darwin*

    (Areola, Gordon, Reguilon, Maguire)

    Thanks!

Yes save imo. Darwin trained, and you have Gordon coming in for Richarlison if injured. Regulion in for Porro, who can get attacking returns
