Could happen but I doubt it. He's much more effective than Gakpo. The only reason this might happen is if he's still getting over an injury we aren't aware of.

Not sure what to do with Lascelles ....
I'll be FH in 34 and then BB later ..

I've already got Gusto, Gabriel, Udogie and Bradley.... Have £0.6m ITB.

    Should I:
    A) Roll transfer and then maybe replace Bradley with Gvardiol and replace Lascelles with another £3.9m
    B) Move Lascelles today to another defender up to £4.5m

    Kelleher Onana

    Salah Saka Palmer Garnacho Foden
    Isak Haaland Darwin

Kelleher is an amazing price but if you’re in wildcard then it might be time to find a replacement rather than waste a transfer down the line. A lot can change but as it stands the dgw fixtures are a possible option for Alisson return

Although I don't agree with Roy Keane saying that Haaland is like a League 2 player in terms of general footballing ability, Harry Kane is by far a better all round footballer. In terms of hold up play, linking, dropping deep, passing ability, all round awareness, it is no contest. In terms of finishing/goal scoring prowess it is pretty equal although PERHAPS Haaland edges it. Man City not creating much recently so Haaland looking a bit lost.

Not sure Haaland will ever be anything more than a goal scorer. That is fine as long as chances are coming his way. Papers over the cracks. At the moment, Liverpool and Arsenal much more dynamic attacks and more likely to hit 5 or 6 goals. City huffing and puffing but not blowing the house down and it makes Haaland look like he does nothing.

And by the way, there are plenty of young players who are better passers and linking forwards than Haaland so not sure age comes into it. He just plays to his obvious strengths. Pep doesn't seem to care.

Kane's all time Premier League stats against top 6 plus Leicester City (title winning season) is 45 goals and 14 assists in 87 matches. Hardly rubbish.
Son's stats are 21 goals, 11 assists in 76 games versus the same opponents.
                  Excellent record for England, too.
Hope you aren't basing the bottler tag on a missed pen against France.

Obviously in semis and finals, the tough opponents make it harder. No striker scores in every match. You are extremely harsh and seem to be demanding a 100% record. Unreasonable

England play whoever they are drawn against in qualifying. I don't know the record for semis and finals. Might be zero. Doesn't bother me much. If you want to take that as some kind of hollow victory, congratulations. I can't think of bottled or missed chances for England particularly apart from the 2nd pen v France. We should make a list of great players who have missed penalties or clear cut chances if we are going to start being silly.

                        2021 League Cup semi-final vs Brentford - 0 goals (won 2-0, 1 leg only)
Euro 2020 semi-final vs Denmark - 1 penalty rebound (won 2-1 in extra time)
                        2022 League Cup semi-final vs Chelsea - 0 goals (lost 2-0)

2015 League Cup final vs Chelsea - 0 goals (lost 2-0)

failure with a mediocre Spurs side to score in semis or finals is hardly damning evidence against Kane. Maybe he was starved of chances. With England of course we were up against strong opposition. Not scoring is not the same as being a bottler. The definition of a bottler is a person with little mental strength or resilience or someone who lacks courage etc. None of these apply to Kane. You are using the term bottler incorrectly. The thread started by me correctly pointing out that Kane is a far better all round player than Haaland, and you went off on some bizarre tangent about age and bottling it. I'm sure City would have won the treble with Kane up front goal-hanging and getting routine tap-ins week after week, too. Whether or not Tottenham and England have won trophies is irrelevant really. The Dutch have never won a World Cup therefore using your skewed logic of players not scoring in every single big match, the likes of Van Basten and Cruyff must be "bottlers", too. The same can be said for great, award-winning (golden boots, player of the year, Fifa top 100) talents like Socrates, Di Natale, Signori et al who never won anything of note either.

Arteta on Saka: “He's fine. We haven't trained, we've recovered and there will be a short, light session to prepare for the game.

“We will see if he's in the best condition to start or not.”

On Martinelli: “He is [available to play for 90 minutes] because he was available to play against a really tough opponent and he certainly is today.

“We will train today, see the state of every player and make the right decision tomorrow.”

Have feeling Saka doesn't play. Could make nice wildcard team without him. 92pts behind leader in ML need to take a punt

Seriously considering havertz over him and upgrade elsewhere

    2. Eze Really?

Son to Salah for -4? or next week for free. Already did Watkins to Darwin to free up some cash for Salah move.

WC in 35, FH used, so might get most out of Salah in 31-34. Yet, Son could do well in 31, why take a hit...

Hi guys, which one do you like the most? (I'm WC this week and hoping to FH34 and BB37)

        1)
        Kelleher (Petrovic)
Gabriel, Bradley, Ait-Nouri (Van Hecke, Branthwaite)
        Palmer, Foden, Saka, Son, Salah
        Solanke, Haaland (Muniz)

        2)
        Dubravka (Petrovic)
Gabriel, Bradley, Ait-Nouri (Van Hecke, Branthwaite)
        Saka, Salah, Son, Palmer (Garnacho)
        Solanke, Haaland, Isak

Any other suggestion is welcomed, but basically it's:
        1) Kelleher, Foden, Muniz vs.
        2) Dubravka, Garnacho, Isak

Think I prefer 2. Not much in it, Kelleher is just a future transfer down the line so maybe better on WC times it now although his GW31 fixture is appealing as is price

Thanks! I guess I'll go #2. It avoids transferring Isak in and transferring Kelleher out. (I am assuming Pope is definitely out)
I do not love transferring Foden out but with UCL back, he might have less minutes too.

Need all the help I could get - Currently have WC and BB + 2 FT - Thinking about WC on GW35 and BB GW37 - Let me know if I need to change based on my current lineup

          NETO - Areola
Porro - Gusto - Zabarnyi - Gabriel - Van Hecke
          Richarlison - Saka - Gordon - Foden - Garnacho
          Solanke - Watkins - Haaland

          I can take some hits
