        Hardly lacklustre, I’ve enjoyed every bit of it(except England, France, Belgium) & still think it is better than the worldcup in Qatar, nevertheless, Euro 2016 way better than both.

    Triple Portugal defense (including Diogo Costa)! Would have probably been better for me if Portugal had lost in penalties as I still have LL and WC but not complaining. At least I got to see Ronaldo sobbing uncontrollably after having his penalty saved. Not a bad day.

            I have those players played in my team & players to sub in( Simons, Baumi, Sabitzer, Verbruggen).

            I would definitely sub Ronaldo 0 pts, Mbappe 2 pts, Pickford 2 pts but wondering whether to leave either of Cucu & Bruno 4pts in my team or sub both off.

    I thought nothing extra was given for performances in the shootout? Which I'm guessing the panel have based their decision on.

        Yeah I get that. I guess the point I'm trying to make is that it is a bit of a quirk in this game.

        Eg if Portugal had won with an OG in ET. Then no way Costa is getting it

          Yes its a bit different to FPL where the bonus points system is an integral part of the fantasy game. Here MOTM is decided by UEFA panel & exists independently of fantasy

          It seems Costa's heroics in the shootout won him player of the match. So although players don't get other scoring points from shootouts, it is possible to steal the bonus in this way.

        Yes but the game rules say you don't score points for actions in the shootout.

        The point I'm making is that Costa's saves in the shootout earned him player of the match and he therefore stole the bonus.

            Not saying he is not deserving of the bonus or that he shouldnhave save points from the shootout. Just found it strange that all other points scoring avenues are closed at end of ET but a player can steal player of the match in the shootout.

    Lucked through with no wildcard and quadruple Spain, quadruple Portugal. In fact, I haven’t had a player knocked out yet, quite boringly. Netherlands and triple Austria to go. Worse case scenario is a single hit to get a squad of 15.

      I’ve been to Austria, to Vienna. I saw Mozart pushing a shopping trolley in a supermarket! I saw another Mozart drinking an orange juice at a bus stop! Less than 100m from the Opera I was able to secure, from the menu mind you, a lovely serving of toast and vegemite! Height of civilisation is Vienna!

            That Timo Werner part was uncalled for, but I have every right to be harsh. We were the 1st team to be knocked out of the Euro’s so I stay by my comment about useless bunch.
            Lewandowski, Zielinski, Szczesny and co should take leaf out of Slovakias, Slovenias, Romanias or Georgias book and learn how to show pride and commitment.

      I've been kind of checked out for Euro Fantasy this year. It's been strange. I usually enjoy international fantasy even more than FPL but this year I just feel like it's all a bit random and I don't really care to delve into the stats and choose between Baumgartner or Sabitzer.

      I hope this isn't a sign of things to come in FPL. I'm not any less interested in the footie. I still watch as many Euro games as I can, enjoying the games a lot. Just that now I don't even remember what players I had in my team. I'm becoming a casual. Damn.
