What do you think about this for a BB team?
Very heavy at the back, with Son as the only player priced above 10.

    Pope Areola
    TAA White Gabriel Gvardiol Porro
    Son *Jota Gordon Eze *Bobb
    Havertz Isak(C) Wood

I know there are a few risky * picks here, like Jota and Bobb. I'm not sure about them yet, but if they seem like they're gonna start for GW1, I'll go with them.

    WC GW2

I have the same plan, sorry I didn't answer your reply to my post week ago.
I like your team, saka vs son is a dilemma for me. odegaard or not.
and I would get CHO instead of bobb. one of the players locked in my team since the start.
you know, it's salah or no one from liverpool. jota is a bad pick imo. maybe gakpo? we will know more.
and I wouldn't feel good about gvardiol away vs chelsea.

I'm not convinced on CHO as already have Wood in there, not keen to double up.

Jota and Bobb are risky but both high ceiling players, might take the risk

City away against Chelsea - easy win for City

If using BB then you need 15 sure starters or it defeats the point of it.
Surely you want triple Arsenal, Newcastle, Man Utd and Spurs to really attack the best GW home fixtures?
      Pope / Onana
White / Porro / Van de Ven / Dunk / Milenkovic
      Son / Bruno / Odegaard / Szbooszlai / Gordon
      Isak / Havertz / Hojlund

Rank the GW1 fixtures only and Man Utd are in the top 4
          1) Newcastle at home to Southampton
          2) Liverpool away to Ipswich
          3) Spurs away to Leicester
          4) Man Utd at home to Fulham
          5) NFO at home to Bournemouth
          6) Brighton away to Everton

Also, should get Man Utd team news as it's the Friday night KO - might be a some good cheaper options. If I was on BB I'd be eyeing up Rashford if he starts....

Get your points on 15 nailed players, of course.
Jota and Bobb are high risk, high reward.

No, I don't want to triple up on Manchester United. I'd rather triple up on Manchester City away at Chelsea.

You misundertood - for BB its too risky as that is a one off. Reward does not support risk. As a general short/medium/long term pick then of course a risky pick is relevant - just not for BB which is the point he made.

Not sure about the big at the back strategy. Cleansheets were difficult to come by last season, think I'd rather double up on Arsenal attack than defence.

Are you okay not having Salah?

It's for one week only. I'm not sure how to use the cash in a better way, since many of the quality mids are arriving late after the Euros.

I want Salah, of course, but I will captain Isak anyway, so I'm not sure if I should be too worried about him.

Looking at a few differentials in defence.

Calafiori - I think he comes in and starts on the left, will monitor pre season games but honestly could be a gem.

Maasten - Villa great fixtures, anyone keen?

How strong bench should we have at the start of the season ? Your opinion? A or B ?

    A. TAA + bench; Faes, H-B, 4.5 forward
    B. Munoz + bench; Mykolenko, Faes, Muniz (Munoz and Mykolenko rotation in this one…)

Something in between would be my ideal - would hate to start any of those in A, but Muniz is playable every week imo & personally I probably wouldn't go over 5.5 for a player I intend to leave on the bench most weeks. I'm looking at something like: 4.5m def, 4m def, 5m (or at most 5.5m) mid.

Salah & Haaland doesn’t look too bad actually if you accept say Foden over Palmer:

    Flekken
    Gvardiol | Saliba | Mykolenko
    Salah | Foden | Gordon | MGW | Andreas
    Haaland | Muniz

No Isak though and double Fulham attack, which could be fruitful with their opening fixtures.

If this can scrape past GW1 with an acceptable score you’ll be laughing with Triple City going into GW2.

    Thoughts?

Probably be nice to have Son in GW1 but struggling to see where I could find 0.5 required to upgrade from Foden - possibly Rogers instead of Andreas or Joao Pedro instead of Muniz.

Depends on your preference - going both is also an option with two 5.5m midfielders and Rogers for example.

I was both then switched to Haaland only, I think Haaland could do well v Chelsea then has a lovely run.

On liverpool I believe their style has/will changed to more possession based stuff, will this make Salah less appealing as you could get cheaper Liverpool mids?
