FanTeam is back for 2024/25 with EPL Unlimited

Sponsored by FanTeam

With the European Championship drama behind us, FanTeam returns for the 2024/25 Premier League season. This time, they’re tempting new customers with a significant welcome offer.

We at Scout are delighted to partner up with them, providing insightful articles between now and the start of Gameweek 1.

Fantasy Premier League (FPL) managers will be familiar with FanTeam rules, where there’s also a notable prize pool. And, in a fresh twist, this time it’ll be joined by a second format. One that allows you to own all the star players desired.

THE NEW EPL UNLIMITED GAME

FanTeam is back for 2024/25 with exciting welcome offer 2

That’s right, EPL Unlimited is a season-long competition without any player prices. So no more debating which of the premium assets to own. This content is easy to enter and provides a refreshing variation to the standard season-long fare.

Just like FPL, managers select a 15-man squad (with no more than three per club), making weekly decisions based on captaincy and how to use their latest free transfer.

Each extra transaction costs four points but there are two Wildcard chips to be activated at some point.

EPL Unlimited costs £3 to play, with a £30k prize pool for the top 10% of finishers. Customers can enter up to three different teams, ensuring a true challenge of skill and strategy.

WELCOME OFFER

FanTeam is back for 2024/25 with exciting welcome offer 1

By depositing money and entering this £3 Unlimited game, brand-new FanTeam customers unlock a fantastic deal.

They are rewarded with two ‘Pick6’ tickets for Gameweeks 2 and 3 (usually £2 each), plus a free entry into FanTeam’s regular £200k contest (usually £10). It’s a bundle worth £14.

£200K EPL REGULAR SEASON GAME

FanTeam is back for 2024/25 with exciting welcome offer 3

As mentioned, FanTeam will also run their regular £10 entry, £200k prize pool game, which awards a cool £40k to the eventual winner. Customers can enter up to 25 different teams.

This version comes with a recognisable £100m squad budget and – like Unlimited – managers can theoretically accumulate up to 37 free transfers.

We’ll take a further look at both games over the upcoming weeks, with strategy articles and player picks to help you rise through the FanTeam leaderboards.

Morning gang. Any thoughts on this, spreading funds about a bit more with no Haaland, Salad or Palmer?

    Pickford (Virginia)
TAA – Porro – Gvardiol (Maatsen – Barco)
Fernandes – KDB – Odegaard – Nkunku (Smith Rowe)
    Watkins – Nunez – Isak

"no Haaland, Salad or Palmer" nor Saka, Saliba,.Gordon, Son & Foden.

Should see you separate from the peleton.

Fair point. I can sidestep to any of those relatively easily though if required. Probably be a KDB to Foden move after a few weeks anyway, just wanted to 'cover' Haaland as KDB is his main supply and not sure Foden is going to hit the ground running. Gvardiol is a better FPL prospect than Saliba for me. Looking at Gordon a fair bit but loathe to double up on Newcastle attack early on

      I quite like it.

If Fernandes stays at United, he could do well and is decent value.

Nunez is a bit of a gamble given that we don't know who Slot's preferred option in the central position will be. Could be any of Jota, Darwin or Gakpo (assuming Diaz stays on the left).

Given his age, I'd also be a bit wary of KDB's minutes, especially once the CL starts.

Cheers for the comment. Slot name dropped Darwin when saying he didn't have any strikers yet for pre-season and played two 'no.10s' the other day. It is a gamble, but with Gakpo doing well for Netherlands in the Euros on the left and saying that's his preferred position, I think Nunez will be first choice up top with maybe Jota second choice or coming on at 60/70 mins

How do you access the StatsBomb stuff?

    I don't know what I'm looking for.

    Thanks.

Hey SCJ, we've been slowly integrating it this week.

More to come, but for now if you click on player stats (outfielders only), the Pressures, Passes, Rentions, On Ball Value and Shots columns are all StatsBomb data.

      xG assisted is in passes.

xG, xG per shot etc is in shots.

Any other questions let me know.

Thanks, AVFC82. The best guide I've seen (I haven't really hunted around) and I really appreciate the proper reply.

        Couple of things ...

At the bottom of the Shots page, for example, it says: Statistics provided under license by Opta Sports. Copyright Opta Sports 2010.

I don't think I'd be too chirpy if I were Mr and Mrs StatsBomb.

And I just about remember 2010:

and Trump was still doing The Apprentice.

Also, it would be nice to have a sort of "Lock players" checkbox at the top so when you select "Only show ..." Muniz and Wood, they stay selected when you move from e.g. Fantasy Stats to Shots.

It seemed like there'd been a hiatus over the summer and the question came up in the comments about a week ago (from Eze Really?) so I asked if there had been any change in stance over the gambling partnerships. Didn't get any response so I would assume nothing has really changed

Looks pretty good, although I'd prefer Pope & Anderson over Flekken & Munoz.

Also might also be worth going with a safer option like Gibbs-White over Nkunku to start with (good opening fixtures, nailed, on pens).
